Arjun is a playable fighter in Street Fighter 6, built around a heavy-hitting striking style the game calls Bare-knuckle Yoga. He is the second character in the Year 4 lineup, following Yasmine, and he landed with a full set of mode additions rather than a standalone roster slot.
Quick answer: Arjun became playable on October 13, 2026 as paid Year 4 content on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, bringing his own Arcade Story, Combo Trials, costumes, and avatar features.
Who Arjun is
Arjun brings explosive, heavily armored force to a fight. His remarkable lung capacity and yogic breathing power punishing attacks, with throws and slams taking priority over finesse. Once a police officer in India, he was accused of killing a colleague; now he is on the run, hunting for the person truly responsible.
That backstory sits inside Year 4’s wider roster. The character pass pairs Arjun with newcomer Yasmine, guest fighter Tifa from the Final Fantasy VII Remake series, and World Tour’s second protagonist, Bosch. With Yasmine and Arjun both live, Tifa and Bosch are the two still to come.

The launch video opens with Arjun walking through fire under an “Available Now” banner, then runs through everything the update touches in Fighting Ground and the Avatar Room. It closes on a victory screen and the platform card.
His Super Art finisher is the clearest look at his power. He seizes Rashid, leaps into the air, and drives him down onto a rock pinnacle in a cinematic slam.

Fighting Ground content for Arjun
Arjun arrives with the standard single-player and practice content new characters receive. That covers an Arcade Story mode, Combo Trials, and character customization.
- An Arcade Story with its own stage progression and high-score tracking.
- A bonus mini-game where Arjun smashes and flips a truck.
- Combo Trials across difficulty tiers, including Intermediate jump-attack routes.
- Costume and color options, including Outfit 2 and Color 02.
His Arcade Story stages travel through locations such as the United Kingdom, shown on the map screen before a match begins.

The Edit Character screen is where his cosmetics live. The trailer shows Outfit 2 paired with Color 02 under the usual title, control, and button-preset settings.

Avatar Room additions
The update also feeds the Avatar Room, where you play as a custom-created fighter instead of a roster character. Two new modes appear here: Avatar Arcade and Avatar Random Match.
You can enroll your avatar under Arjun’s fighting style through Master Enrollment. Doing so unlocks his moves for your created character, including a special move labeled Arm of Justice/Follow-up, which shows up as “Enrolled” on the result screen once learned.

Battle Tour gains new courses to fight through as well. One course, “Shadows Dancing on a Black Moon,” hands out a completion reward tied to Street Fighter V content. These avatar battle modes build on the May 2026 update that let players earn avatar cosmetics and moves outside of World Tour.
World Tour itself stopped receiving new content after the third season, so Arjun’s avatar material flows through the Avatar Room modes rather than the story campaign.
Platforms and availability
Arjun is available now across every platform the base game runs on. The launch card lists the following.
