Before you start: reset the levers if needed
The lever puzzle shares the same maze used for the UFO Key. If you already pulled levers while chasing the UFO Key and Good Samaritan Badge, those switches may be sitting in the wrong positions. Hop into a fresh server so every lever returns to its default state before you begin.
One more thing about leaving. If you exit the game partway through, the levers reset, and you start over. Stay in the same session until the key is in hand. To save time between switches, you do not have to walk the maze back. Respawn or teleport to the surface, then drop back down through any manhole to reach the next lever faster.
Locate and pull the Blue lever. This is the first switch in the sequence, and it can be pulled right away with no prerequisites. After pulling it, respawn and re-enter through a manhole to reach the next one quickly.
Pull the Green lever. Head down the pathway to the right of the Most Cash leaderboard to find it. The earlier pulls keep this route open, so follow the order exactly.
Go back and unpull the Red lever. Flipping it back off opens the path toward the final Purple lever, so this step matters even though it undoes an earlier pull.

Pull the Purple lever. It sits deeper in the maze behind some sudden turns, so move carefully. Once it is on, respawn to the surface and head back into the sewers.

Pull the Red lever one last time, then collect the Sewer Key. Flipping the Red lever opens a door on your right that leads to the key tucked away in the maze. Walk through and pick it up.
How to get the Cosmic Farmer Badge
The key itself is only half the job. Take it to the Sewer Gate and use it to open the lock. Behind the gate is the Cosmic Cash Vine.
Harvest the Cosmic Cash Vine a single time, and the Cosmic Farmer Badge unlocks immediately. The gate stays permanently open after this, so you keep returning access to the vine.

Cosmic Cash Vine rewards and timing
Once the gate is open, the vine becomes a repeatable income source on top of your tycoon and offline earnings. Each harvest hands you a random amount of Cash, and the node refreshes on a fixed timer.

Common reasons the puzzle does not work
If the Sewer Key never appears or a door refuses to open, the cause is almost always the lever state, not a bug. The puzzle is strict about order and about which levers are on versus off at each step.
