What counts as “something sweet”

The task is satisfied only by Sugarcane, a crop you grow from seed and collect once it finishes its full growth cycle. Plenty of items in the valley feel sweet, but the task is locked to this single plant, so chasing fruit or other ingredients wastes time.

How to grow Sugarcane for the task

Buy Sugarcane Seeds from Goofy’s stall in the Dazzle Beach biome, or from his traveling stall in Wishblossom Ranch. To guarantee you reach 50 harvested crops in a single pass, purchase 50 seeds.

Dig the planting spots using your Royal Shovel, or use a horse to clear ground quickly. Planting in Dazzle Beach gives the shortest growth time, but the crop will grow anywhere.

Place all 50 seeds, then switch to your Royal Watering Can and water every plant. The growth timer does not start until each crop has been watered, so do this right after planting.

Wait out the growth cycle, then harvest each plant. Sugarcane only needs watering once, which makes it one of the faster crops to cycle through.

Speed up the harvest with companions

Bring two gardening Companions and a gardening villager along while you work. Any extra Sugarcane they pull up does not count toward the Star Path total, but the surplus is still useful for cooking, selling, and gifting.

Note: Because companion-found crops do not add task progress, planting and harvesting your own 50 seeds is the reliable way to finish. You may collect a few bonus crops while gathering, but that is not guaranteed, so do not rely on it to close the gap.

Reward and how to confirm completion

Finishing the harvest awards 15 event Tokens for the Godly Glamor Star Path. The task marks as complete once your harvested Sugarcane count reaches 50, and the Tokens are added to your event total.

Most Star Path prizes cost far more than 15 Tokens, so a single task will not be enough to claim them. To build up your Token balance, work through other event duties such as cooking a fairly fancy dessert, digging for pottery material, cooking a fairly fancy appetizer, and selling green veggies.
