Fortnite Runners Weekly Sprite Events and Schedule for Legendary Sprites

Epic's weekly Mastery Mondays, Thursday drops, and Saturday Power Hours raise the odds of finding rare Sprites.

Epic’s weekly Mastery Mondays, Thursday drops, and Saturday Power Hours raise the odds of finding rare Sprites.

Chapter 7 Season 3: Runners turned Sprites into the core of every match, and the rarest ones are the hardest to track down and extract. Epic Games has now locked in a repeating weekly schedule of Sprite events that raises spawn rates for Mythic and Legendary Sprites, speeds up leveling, and pays out more Sprite Dust. The same cycle runs each week for the rest of the season.

Quick answer: Log in during Mastery Mondays (every Monday from 9:00 AM ET for 24 hours) for boosted Legendary and Mythic Sprite spawns, double Sprite leveling, and double Sprite Dust on extraction. Saturday Power Hours at 3:30 PM ET and 9:30 PM ET add Gold Sprite spawn boosts and stacking leveling multipliers.

The schedule covers three days each week, with Monday focused on progression, Thursday adding new Sprites to the pool, and Saturday running two timed Power Hours. Epic detailed the rotation in its Every Week in Fortnite Runners blog. Times below are listed in ET.

Mastery Mondays: Best window for Legendary and Mythic Sprites

Mastery Mondays is the headline event and the most reliable time to chase high-rarity Sprites. It starts every Monday at 9:00 AM ET and runs for a full 24 hours. During that window, spawn rates for Mythic and Legendary Sprites, including the Punk Sprite, climb significantly, so the Sprites that are normally tough to find appear far more often across the map.

Progression also moves faster on Mondays. Sprites level up at twice the normal rate through opening chests, eliminating opponents, and extracting Sprites. On top of that, every successful extraction pays out double Sprite Dust, which you can spend to summon other Sprites before a match or buy Extraction Gizmos.

Tip: Because extraction is loud and visible to nearby players, the doubled Sprite Dust on Mondays makes it worth taking the risk to bank multiple Sprites in a single run rather than playing it safe with one.

Thursday Sprite additions and the Gummy variant

Each Thursday, Epic adds new Sprites or special variant Sprites to the loot pool. This rotation begins June 11, 2026, and that first drop marks the debut of the Gummy variant. Variant Sprites carry small bonus effects on top of their base ability, so Thursdays are the day to look for fresh collectibles you do not already own.

Saturday Sprite Power Hours and rewards

Saturdays feature two separate Power Hours at 3:30 PM ET and 9:30 PM ET. The first pair runs June 13, 2026, with the second session that same day at 9:30 PM ET. During each Power Hour, the following changes apply across matches:

  • Gold Sprites get a large boost to their base spawn rates.
  • Every player drops from the Battle Bus carrying the Dark Voyager’s Chaos Exploder Rifle.
  • Extracting a Sprite restores your Health and Shields and grants a temporary Slap effect.
  • Each extraction adds a stacking multiplier that boosts Sprite leveling for the rest of that match.

The stacking leveling multiplier rewards repeated extractions in a single match, so chaining several extraction runs during a Power Hour pushes a Sprite toward its max level much faster than normal play.

How the events make Legendary Sprites easier to collect

Legendary Sprites such as Dream and Punk, along with the Mythic Zero Point Sprite, normally spawn only at high-tier spots and demand a full extraction to keep. The weekly events attack both problems. Mastery Mondays raise how often those Sprites appear in the first place, while the doubled leveling and Sprite Dust cut down the number of runs needed to master them and bring others into your collection.

You will know an extraction worked when the Sprite is added to your collection, ready to be summoned with Sprite Dust at the start of your next match. Mastering a Sprite requires extracting it at max level, and reaching that point unlocks progression rewards across the season. The fastest path is to play during these windows, level Sprites you already hold while hunting for rarer ones, and bank everything at extraction points before each match ends.
