FIFA World Cup 2026 event window and free rewards

The headline feature is the World Cup tie-in. You can pick a country to represent and climb a global leaderboard during the event. Every one of the 48 participating nations comes with its own Octane Decal and Player Title at no cost.

There is a deadline worth noting. You have until July 13 at 9 a.m. PT to choose your country and claim its free Octane Decal and Title. After the real-world tournament ends, players receive the other 47 World Cup Decals plus a title for the winning nation.

The wider World Cup event continues through July 20, 2026. During that stretch you can unlock a Goal Explosion, a Rocket Boost, a Decal, and more. Completing at least 10 challenges grants the Hyundai Ioniq 6 for free.

New arena, Rocket Pass, and quality-of-life features

Season 23 adds a new stadium called United Futura, a futuristic venue built around a global football atmosphere. The Rocket Pass Premium track again includes two vehicles, the Ryza Trophy and the Ryza T60, alongside hundreds of cosmetics such as Boosts, Trails, Antennas, and Player Anthems.

A set of long-requested features also arrives. The most notable is Demo Spawn Control, which lets you pick which side you respawn on after a demolition.

  • Custom training improvements
  • Ball and car speed graphs
  • Hitbox visualization
  • Automatic replay skipping and a new replay camera

Content creators Mizu and Jynxzi are also featured. You can unlock a free Mizu-themed item, and encountering Jynxzi in a match earns special rewards. Winning alongside him grants one item, while beating him grants another.

Full details on the season are posted on the official Rocket League Season 23 blog. Once the patch downloads and the menu refreshes, the World Cup event, United Futura, and the new Rocket Pass will be ready to go.
