VV ULTIMATUM Vasto Lorde Evolution – Full Hollow Progression Path

The exact evolution chain, kill and destruction targets, and trait limits that take a Hollow to Vasto Lorde.

The exact evolution chain, kill and destruction targets, and trait limits that take a Hollow to Vasto Lorde.

Vasto Lorde is the strongest natural Hollow form in VV ULTIMATUM and the last stage before you remove your mask to become an Arrancar. Reaching it matters because it is the only form that unlocks all four Hollow Trait slots, which carry over and shape your final build. The route is linear, but the game does not spell out the kill counts, destruction targets, or the warning about evolving too early.

Quick answer: Pick the Hollow faction, evolve Base → Menos → Adjuchas, and never press L early. As an Adjuchas, farm enemies that give progression points until you hit the requirement to evolve into Vasto Lorde with all four trait slots intact.

The full Hollow evolution path

The Hollow line follows a fixed chain. Each stage adds abilities and, more importantly, trait slots. Evolving on schedule is fine, but pressing L to remove your mask before Vasto Lorde permanently caps how many traits you can keep.

StageTrait slotsKey unlock
Fishbone (Base)2Starting form
Menos2Can press L (becomes Menoscar — avoid)
Adjuchas3Cero and Roar abilities
Vasto Lorde4Final trait slot, max customization
ArrancarLocked at current countWeapon and Resurreccion

The takeaway is simple. Skipping ahead to Arrancar from Menos gives you two trait slots forever, and from Adjuchas it gives you three. Only waiting until Vasto Lorde grants the full four. You can launch the game from the official VV: ULTIMATUM Roblox page to begin.

Choose the Hollow faction and starting type

After the tutorial, you select a faction. Pick Hollow to start the evolution route. You then choose a starting Hollow type, which decides your later Resurreccion fight difficulty. The four options are Gorilla, Lizard, Centipede, and Turtle.

TypeProfile
GorillaBalanced speed, damage, and durability. Safest pick and easiest Resurreccion fight.
LizardFast and mobile, weaker defense. Suits aggressive movement play.
CentipedeHigh speed, weak damage and defense. One of the hardest Resurreccion fights.
TurtleHeavy defense and durability, slow attacks that complicate the Resurreccion encounter.

Gorilla is the recommended choice for anyone pushing toward Vasto Lorde and beyond, mainly because its later trial is far more forgiving. If you land on a type you dislike, a reroll can change it, but settling early avoids repeated grinding.

Fishbone to Menos

Run the red story quests as your priority. They push your evolution progress faster than anything else and guide you toward the next stage.
Defeat Hollows while you complete those quests. Combining quest progress with kills earns experience and evolution requirements at the same time, instead of grinding them separately.
When the transformation triggers, evolve into Menos. Treat this as a checkpoint, not a finish line. The game will let you press L to become an Arrancar here, but doing so locks you to two traits, so ignore it.
Complete quests and defeat Hollows to evolve into Menos.

Menos to Adjuchas: kill and destruction targets

The Adjuchas evolution has two clear requirements. Defeat 8 Hollows and destroy 60 environmental objects. The destruction count catches many players off guard because they focus only on combat.

Run through the beginner zones and destroy every tree along your path. Trees count toward the 60 objects and are easy to find in bulk.
Kill the Lizards and other common Hollows that spawn in those same areas. Since you are already moving to break objects, these eight kills come naturally.
Once both counters are full, you evolve into Adjuchas. This stage opens a third trait slot plus the Cero and Roar abilities.

Adjuchas to Vasto Lorde: best farming targets

This is the longest stretch of the Hollow path. Adjuchas needs a large amount of progression points, and only certain enemies provide them. Quincies and Shinigami count toward progress, while Arrancars do not, so avoid wasting time on the wrong targets. The Vasto Lorde evolution requires reaching 70 PK points.

TargetLocationWhy it works
Scorpion HollowNear the village areaReliable spawns, fast kills, steady progression per kill
Giant Dragonfly (boss)Cave above the Scorpion regionGrants far more progression per kill, fastest overall route
Mission enemiesRepeatable missionsEasy to defeat and count toward requirements

For pure speed, fold the Dragonfly boss into your rotation since it cuts the total number of kills needed. If you prefer steady open-world grinding, cycle Scorpion Hollows or farm Hollows in the outskirts. Either way, keep climbing until the Vasto Lorde transformation unlocks.

Tip: A higher character level smooths out the road ahead. Reaching Level 35 or more and investing 50+ skill points makes the later Resurreccion trial much easier once you do remove your mask.

Managing Hollow Traits before Vasto Lorde

Hollow Traits are permanent bonuses earned by consuming defeated Hollows. Each consumption has a chance to offer a trait, and you can reject any you do not want. They affect both your Hollow form and your eventual Arrancar, and they become extremely hard to change once you remove your mask.

Because the four-slot ceiling only exists at Vasto Lorde, lock in your ideal combination while you are still a Hollow. Strong, widely used picks include Iron Skin for survivability, Deadly Claws for damage, and Wings for mobility. Plan around long-term combat performance rather than grabbing the first trait you see.

How to confirm you reached Vasto Lorde

You know the evolution worked when the transformation sequence plays and your form changes to Vasto Lorde, with four active trait slots available to fill. This is the largest power spike on the Hollow path and the correct point to stop before becoming an Arrancar.

If the evolution will not trigger, the usual cause is not having enough progression points yet, which means you still need to reach 70 PK by defeating valid targets. Killing Arrancars adds nothing, so check that you are farming Scorpion Hollows, the Dragonfly boss, mission enemies, or Quincy and Shinigami opponents instead.

Once you stand at Vasto Lorde with four traits locked in, you are ready to press L and begin the Arrancar transformation whenever you choose. Hold off until your traits are exactly how you want them, because that decision is the one part of the Hollow journey you cannot easily undo.
