Sell Lemons Powers: Costs, Effects, and Reset Behavior

Every Power, what it does, the Investor or Robux cost, and which ones survive Evolution and Ascension.

Every Power, what it does, the Investor or Robux cost, and which ones survive Evolution and Ascension.

Powers are the permanent quality-of-life upgrades in Sell Lemons that change how a run feels once your lemon empire spreads across several income sources. Most are bought with Alien Investors, a couple are sold for Robux, and they cover travel speed, remote management, upgrade stacking, pickup value, and reset planning. There are seven tracked Powers in total.

Quick answer: The five Investor-bought Powers (Manage, Run Faster, Stack Upgrade, Remote Buy, Expert Picker) survive Rebirths but reset when you Evolve or Ascend. The two Robux Powers (Speed Up Time and Forever Purchase) stay unlocked through every reset. Open the powers menu with the green board icon at the top of the screen to buy and confirm them.

Powers bought with Alien Investors

These five Powers are purchased from the Manage panel using Investors. Several of them have multiple tiers, so the cost rises each time you upgrade the effect. They stay active through Rebirths but are wiped when you perform an Evolution or Ascension, which means you re-buy them after each major reset.

Manage, Run Faster, and Expert Picker are the early helpers. They cut down on walking and make scattered pickups worth more once you are already moving across the map. Stack Upgrade matters once repeated upgrades and global multipliers are doing more than one-off purchases. Remote Buy sits at the deep end, costing 1 Trigintillion Investors, and only becomes practical once map-wide rebuilding is the main chore.

Powers bought with Robux

Two Powers are sold for Robux rather than Investors, and they behave differently. Because they are paid products, they are exempt from the resets that wipe the Investor Powers, so they stay unlocked regardless of your Evolution or Ascension tier. Forever Purchase is also handed out free after every Ascension.

How Powers reset across Rebirths, Evolution, and Ascension

Reset behavior is the most important thing to understand before you sink Investors into Powers. The Investor-bought Powers stay active through a Rebirth, so a normal reset does not cost you those unlocks. An Evolution or Ascension is different. Both clear your Powers along with your Investors, which forces you to re-buy Manage, Run Faster, Stack Upgrade, Remote Buy, and Expert Picker afterward.

This is why you should avoid spending big on Investor Powers right before you Evolve or Ascend, since they will reset anyway. The Robux Powers are the exception. Speed Up Time and Forever Purchase remain unlocked no matter how many times you reset.

How to earn Investors to buy Powers

You cannot buy the Investor Powers until you unlock the Rebirth system, and Investors are the currency that pays for them.

Earn $77 Sextillion in cash. Once you cross that threshold, Joe the Alien visits your tycoon and unlocks the Rebirth option.
Rebirth. This resets your building progress but awards Investors, and each Investor adds a permanent 1% cash bonus.
Free the Homeless Alien in the sewers to push your Investor Bonus from 1% to 2% per Investor. With more Investors stacking up, you can afford the higher Power tiers and eventually Remote Buy.

How to use Forever Purchase and confirm it worked

Forever Purchase unlocks in the powers menu after you have built your full tycoon and gained the ability to Ascend. Each use locks one chosen upgrade in place permanently, so the selected structure or income source stays on your base through Rebirths, Evolutions, and Ascensions.

Click the wings icon to the right of your cash balance to activate Forever Purchase.
Walk directly to the button or upgrade you want to keep and step on it. Take a clean route, because stepping on a different button will mark that one instead. The power does not work on divine staircase or hill expansion upgrades.

You will know it worked when the selected structure becomes permanent and survives your next reset. The choice cannot be undone, so a strong global multiplier or your best income source is the safest target. Each Ascension grants another free Forever Purchase, so you can lock in different upgrades over time.

The fastest way to decide what to buy next is to match a Power to your current bottleneck. Run Faster fixes travel, Manage fixes spread-out sources, Stack Upgrade fixes compounding, and Forever Purchase fixes reset planning. Save Remote Buy for deep endgame, where rebuilding the whole map is the slowest part of every run.
