The Frost Moon update is one of the larger drops Fish It has had, mixing a time-limited admin event with permanent additions like new pets, a rebuilt location, and a giant boat. The most urgent part has a clock on it, so it pays to know what to do first before the window shuts.
Quick answer: Start with the Frost Moon Event. The Frost Moon Whale is only catchable for 12 hours after the event begins, so chase it before opening eggs or exploring the rest of the patch.
Frost Moon Event and the Frost Moon Whale
The Frost Moon Event is a limited-time admin event running now. While it is active, you can catch the Frost Moon Whale, a new fish added in this patch, and you can reel in fish carrying the rare Arctic Frost mutation. That mutation only appears during the event, so it disappears once the event ends.
The hard limit to watch is the whale itself. The Frost Moon Whale stays catchable for 12 hours after the event kicks off. After that window closes, it is gone until the event returns, so prioritize it over everything else in the update.

Add to Google Preferences →Two new secret fish, including the Big Crystal Goliath
The update adds two new secret fish to the game. The Frost Moon Whale is one of them, tied directly to the event window above. The second is the Big Crystal Goliath, which surfaced during the event period as well.
The Big Crystal Goliath sits at 3 million rarity, which makes it one of the toughest catches added in this patch. Expect a long grind if you are going after it.

Arctic Egg and its six pets
A new pet egg, the Arctic Egg, is now available. It comes in single and bulk options, and each hatch has a chance at one of six pets.
| Purchase | Cost |
|---|---|
| 1x Arctic Egg | 109 Robux |
| 3x Arctic Egg | 327 Robux |
| 5x Arctic Egg | 545 Robux |
| Pet | Hatch chance |
|---|---|
| Ferret | 26% |
| Wolf | 15% |
| Lynx | 15% |
| Polar Bear | 8% |
| Seal | 5% |
| Arctic Fox | 1% |
Each rarity tier shares its ability values with existing pets of the same tier, so these will not outperform what you already have at that level. The draw here is the look and the collection, not raw power.

Planetary Observatory rebuilt
The Planetary Observatory has been fully rebuilt. If you remember it being wrecked by a meteor and left in ruins, it is now restored and sits at the center of this update’s new content.
There is also a visible “coming soon” section inside the Observatory, which points to more content tied to this spot in future patches. Crafting or potion-making are possible directions based on what is shown there.

New Observatory quest and Nautical Trinket bobber
The rebuilt Observatory comes with a brand-new quest. Unknown species of fish have been drawn to the building, and your task is to find out why.
The quest has you catching specific fish around the area, including the Hyper Jelly and the Azul Crab. Finishing it rewards you with the Nautical Trinket bobber skin.

Withering Core Index and Core trading
Withering Rod users get two notable additions. The Withering Core Index lets you view every possible mutated Withering Core that can be applied to your rod, so you can see the full pool in one place.
Withering Cores can now also be traded between players. They appear under the Equipment section in the trading menu.
Mega Yacht with 22 seats
The update adds the Mega Yacht, a massive boat that fits 22 seats. That makes it the best option for large groups heading out together.
Despite its size, it moves at a solid speed, so traveling in a full crew will not slow your trips down by much.

There is plenty to work through here, but the order matters. Lock in the Frost Moon Event first, since the 12-hour window on the Frost Moon Whale closes faster than it sounds, then move on to the Arctic Egg, the Observatory quest, Core trading, and the new Mega Yacht once the timed content is handled.
