The Far West is the opening map in Far Far West, and it hides ten graves tied to the Release All Souls challenge. Each headstone holds a trapped hunter soul, and interacting with one ticks your counter up by one. Clear all ten in a single map and extract alive on the train, and the post-extraction screen pays out 1,000 Souls.

How the grave system works on the Far West map
Graves do not appear as map markers. You have to walk into their interaction radius and trigger the prompt that releases the soul. The on-screen counter increases by one each time, capping at 10/10 with a “Found all graves! Challenge completed!” message on the final pickup.
Progress carries through the run, but the reward only finalizes once you reach the train and extract. Dying before extraction wipes the progress for that run. Difficulty does not change grave positions, so Easy is enough if you only want the challenge done.

| # | Region | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Far south, water’s edge | Out in the open at ground level near the shoreline shrubs. |
| 2 | Cliffs north of grave 1 | On a raised rocky ledge next to a yellow toxic waste barrel. Parkour up from the lower rocks. |
| 3 | Southeast beach town | Behind the building with the wooden water tank, pressed against the shore. |
| 4 | Train tracks, heading north | Tucked behind a small rocky outcrop on the right side of the rails. |
| 5 | Ruined town with collapsed saloon | Inside the rubble of a building whose roof has fallen in. |
| 6 | Western edge of the map | Inside a standalone wooden outhouse. |
| 7 | Willow island past the tracks | Behind a large willow tree on a small island surrounded by water. |
| 8 | Central-north, near crashed UFO | Inside a small tunnel next to the downed UFO. |
| 9 | Northern sea cliffs | At the foot of the cliff, behind rock formations along the water. |
| 10 | North end of the train tracks | Drop into a cave entrance and turn immediately left. |
A clean route that minimizes backtracking

The two graves players miss most
If your final tally shows 9/10 after a thorough sweep, the culprit is almost always grave 10 or grave 2. Older walkthroughs point to a train wreck near a rail worker for the final grave, but that location was changed in the January 2026 playtest update. The cave at the north end of the tracks is the current spot, and the collectible sits to the left of the entrance.
Grave 2 trips up players running flat builds with no extra jumps. The yellow toxic waste barrel is the visual cue. If you cannot reach the ledge with a single jump, work your way up the lower rocks first and approach from a slightly different angle.

How to know it worked
Each interaction triggers a “You’ve found a grave! X/10” prompt. The tenth pickup adds a “Found all graves! Challenge completed!” banner. The 1,000 Souls reward only appears on the post-extraction summary screen, after you board the train. If you die after collecting the final grave but before extraction, the run resets and you have to redo the map.
Graves do not need to be done in a single run for the count to persist toward later progression goals, but the 1,000 Souls payout for Release All Souls on the Far West map specifically requires a clean extraction with all ten collected during the same run.
Once Far West is cleared, the same 10-graves-per-map structure repeats across the Desert, Canyon, Woodlands, Far Far North, Area 41, and Jungle. The routing instinct you build here, sticking to map edges, checking behind buildings, and looking under cliffs, carries directly into every other region.
