A 5-star Cryo Claymore DPS built around the new Stellar-Conduct reaction, arriving in the first phase of Luna VIII.

After being destroyed by Il Dottore during the Nod-Krai arc, Sandrone — the Marionette and seventh of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers — returns as a playable character. She lands in Version 6.7, branded Luna VIII, as a 5-star Cryo Claymore DPS who pilots a mechanical companion and revives the long-neglected Superconduct reaction through a reworked version called Stellar-Conduct.

Quick answer: Sandrone goes live on July 1, 2026 in the first phase of Version 6.7. She is a 5-star Cryo Claymore on-field DPS whose passive converts every Superconduct trigger in your party into Stellar-Conduct.

Sandrone release date in Genshin Impact 6.7

Sandrone headlines the first phase of Version 6.7, which begins on July 1, 2026. Her banner runs through the standard three-week window, ending July 21, 2026. HoYoverse revealed her splash art on May 25, 2026, and confirmed she carries a Cryo Vision, locking in both her element and her first-phase debut.

Version 6.7 is the final patch of the 6.x cycle before Version 7.0 opens Snezhnaya. There is no Version 6.8; the schedule jumps straight to 7.0 to keep the anniversary aligned. That makes Sandrone the bridge into the Snezhnaya meta, since Stellar-Conduct is expected to anchor Cryo teams going forward. You will know the banner is live the moment it appears in the Wish menu on July 1.

In her playable form, Sandrone does not bring the giant Pulonia automaton from the story. Instead she fights alongside a smaller machine, the Facilitatrice Automatisee Generaliste Interactive et Omnitache, shortened to “Fagio.” Fagio handles most of her ranged Cryo output while Sandrone manages its power state from the field.

Sandrone kit: talents and Stellar-Conduct

Sandrone’s gameplay loop runs on Fagio’s Decoding Power and her Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state. Charged Attacks feed Fagio, the right reactions push her into Radiance, and her best damage lands while that state is active. Superconduct has always been one of the weakest reactions in the game, and her kit is the first to make it pay off.

Normal Attack — Formule Phenomenale: Self-Evident Proposition

Her basic attack uses formula-controlled threads to perform up to three consecutive strikes. The Charged Attack is the real engine. It summons Fagio in Decoding mode, which sweeps enemies in front and periodically fires condensed beams for AoE Cryo damage. While Radiance: Stellar-Conduct is active, those condensed beams count as Stellar-Conduct damage instead.

Decoding mode runs on an overheat-style gauge. Fagio’s Decoding Power rises while in Decoding mode and climbs faster every time it fires a condensed beam. At 100 points it switches to Power Overdrive mode, where it attacks more slowly, deals Cryo damage, and cannot return to Decoding mode. Outside Decoding mode the power drains gradually, and it drains at 300% the normal rate while Sandrone is off-field. Fagio leaves Power Overdrive once Decoding Power drops below 50.

Elemental Skill — Formule Phenomenale: Differential Analysis

Sandrone boards the Tea Party Tactical Assault Hovermech and hovers forward for 6 seconds, steering freely. Pressing Sprint spends 10 Stamina to enter a high-speed hover that costs 15 Stamina per second. When she starts hovering near enemies, she summons a Prismatic Resonance Cannon and fires two Prism Shots for Cryo damage; in Radiance, the second shot becomes Stellar-Conduct damage.

The Skill also doubles as a reset. While riding the hovermech, Sandrone repairs Fagio and rapidly lowers its Decoding Power. That lets you avoid drifting into Power Overdrive at the wrong moment and keeps your Charged Attack loop under control.

Elemental Burst — Formule Phenomenale: Q.E.D.

The Burst summons a large set of Prismatic Resonance Cannons for a frontal bombardment, then fires a Convective Inhibition Ray for AoE Cryo damage. In Radiance: Stellar-Conduct, that ray deals AoE Stellar-Conduct damage. The Burst costs 70 Energy.

Passive talents

PassiveEffect
Light of RationalismeParty Superconduct triggers become Stellar-Conduct. Increases the party’s base Stellar-Conduct DMG by 0.7% per 100 of Sandrone’s ATK, up to 14%. Sandrone enters Radiance: Stellar-Conduct inside a Polestar Field.
Archaic Calculation EngineIn Radiance, if Fagio’s Decoding Power is above 50 when the Skill is used, the second Prism Shot deals 400% of its original DMG as power drops. Every 10 Decoding Power lost grants 1 Refined Tactics stack (max 10, 60s). Casting the Burst in Radiance clears all stacks, boosting the Convective Inhibition Ray by 100% plus 10% per stack cleared.
A Lady’s Code of ConductIncreases Sandrone’s Elemental Mastery by 8 per 100 ATK, up to 160.
A Caucus Prelude and a Long TaleExtra snack rewards when turning in Daily Commissions with Katheryne.

Note: because her ATK feeds both Elemental Mastery and the Stellar-Conduct base damage bonus, you build her like a standard ATK and CRIT carry. The reaction scaling handles itself in the background.

Sandrone constellations

ConstellationEffect
C1 — Morrow After the Golden DuskFagio’s Decoding Power rises 50% slower in Decoding mode, and all party members deal 30% more Stellar-Conduct DMG.
C2 — An Heiress Gazed Into the Looking-GlassIn Radiance, raises Charged Attack condensed beam CRIT DMG by 40%. Each beam fired adds another 20% CRIT DMG to all beams in that Decoding period, stacking up to 3 times.
C3 — Refuse the Wake of Dusk, the Moonlit YokeIncreases the level of her Elemental Skill by 3.
C4 — In Knowledge Lies the World’s True GroundWhen Sandrone deals Stellar-Conduct DMG, she summons an extra Prismatic Resonance Cannon for a coordinated attack dealing 125% ATK as Cryo (counted as Stellar-Conduct). Once every 4s.
C5 — Of All Beside, She Takes No PartIncreases the level of her Elemental Burst by 3.
C6 — Narcissus Wakes, Her Eyes Upon the DawnFagio’s third condensed beam in Decoding mode becomes a continuous Condensed Cluster Beam adding up to 4 instances of AoE Cryo at 100% ATK. In Radiance, those instances deal 80% ATK as Stellar-Conduct, and all of Sandrone’s Stellar-Conduct DMG rises by 20%.

Sandrone best build and teams

Sandrone is an on-field carry who spends most of her field time in Charged Attacks while staying inside the Polestar Field created by Stellar-Conduct. She wants an Electro applicator to keep the reaction firing and Cryo support to round out the team. Her signature weapon, A Teaspoon of Transcendence, is the top option, with the Disenchantment in Deep Shadow set as her four-piece artifact.

For talents, prioritize her Normal Attack first, since it governs Decoding and Power Overdrive damage, then her Burst, and finally her Skill, which is mostly there for power management rather than raw damage.

One caveat worth keeping in mind: Sandrone arrives before some of her dedicated supports and her ideal Snezhnaya teammates, and several of her strongest pairings rely on older units receiving buffs. Her ceiling is high, but the full premium Stellar-Conduct lineup will fill in over the coming patches rather than on day one.
