The Summer Festival 2026 event in Marvel Rivals opened the Hellfire Bay Beach social hub and stacked it with four separate Unit giveaways. Together they add up to 2,500 free Units, enough to cover a premium swimsuit skin without spending real money. The catch is that the Units are spread across different activities, and each one has its own timer.
Quick answer: Claim all 2,500 Units by collecting the Uplifting Welcome (200), checking in at X-Press Juice for seven days (1,500), taking and sharing Summer Snapshots (200), and earning 1,600 Tandem Tide Points (600). The X-Press Juice Units are temporary and must be spent by July 10, 1 AM PT.
The festival went live on June 18 alongside the Season 8.5 update, which also added Cyclops and the Hellfire Bay Beach hub that replaces Times Square for the duration of the event.
The four free Unit sources and their deadlines
You can track every one of these from the Summer Festival 2026 event tab, where each activity has its own icon. The total breaks down like this.

Note: The 1,500 Units from X-Press Juice are limited-time Units. They work exactly like normal Units in the store, but they disappear if you don’t spend them before July 10. That makes the new beachwear skins the natural place to put them.
X-Press Juice: 1,500 temporary Units over seven check-ins
This is the largest single payout. Cyclops runs the X-Press Juice bar in the middle of Hellfire Bay Beach, and checking in there once a day for seven different days hands out the full 1,500 Units. The rewards arrive in batches of 100 and 300 until the seventh day completes the set.
The event window for X-Press Juice runs from June 18 to July 10. Once you have all 1,500 Units, spend them on a swimsuit skin before the July 10, 1 AM PT cutoff, or they vanish.
Tandem Tides: 600 permanent Units from 1,600 points
Tandem Tides is a co-op challenge track, and its 600 Units are permanent, so there is no spending deadline attached to them. You earn Tandem Tide Points by clearing daily missions and challenges, then spend those points to unlock rewards. Reaching 1,600 points claims every Unit batch on offer.
Open the Events tab and pick the Tandem Tides activity, marked with a van icon. You can invite up to three friends into a Co-op Connection. Once that group is set, every party member earns the same Tandem Tide Points whenever any one of you finishes a challenge, which can multiply your point gain up to four times.
You have until the event ends on July 30, 1 AM PT to hit 1,600 points, so there is no rush to grind it all in one sitting.
Summer Snapshot: 200 permanent Units from beach photos
Hellfire Bay Beach is dotted with photo spots, and using them pays out permanent Units. Each shared snapshot grants 100 Units, and you can claim this once every seven days for two claims total, which adds up to 200 Units.
Both Snapshot claims stay open until the event ends on July 30, 1 AM PT, so the weekly cooldown still leaves enough time to grab both.
Uplifting Welcome: 200 Units for a single visit
This is the simplest reward. Log in to Marvel Rivals and load into the Hellfire Bay Beach hub before June 27, 4 PM PT. Once you have set foot on the beach, the 200 Units are paid out on June 27 after the timer ends.
The only common reason to miss this one is forgetting to actually enter the beach hub before the June 27 cutoff. A login by itself does not count; you have to load into the social hub.
When the Summer Festival 2026 event ends
The Summer Festival 2026 event closes on July 30 at 1 AM PT. That date covers Tandem Tides and Summer Snapshot, but the earlier deadlines matter more for planning. The Uplifting Welcome visit must happen by June 27, and the 1,500 temporary X-Press Juice Units must be spent by July 10.
To confirm everything landed, check your Unit balance against the four activity icons in the event tab. If you complete every track and spend the temporary Units in time, the full 2,500 covers at least one of the new beachwear skins outright.
