Crimson Desert has moved to version 1.12.0, which arrives on consoles as update 1.000.352. The release is built around housing, adding the ability to decorate the area outside your home, two new crafting tools, and 58 new furnishings. It also bundles new gear, fresh knowledge entries, and a deep list of fixes across combat, UI, and quests.

New gear, accessories, and the Box of Fortune
Kliff receives five new headgear pieces and a full armor set, while Damiane and Oongka gain new traversal and gameplay options. A new shop item adds another way to chase rewards.

Damiane and Oongka can now equip Visiones and read memories, and both can mount Blackstar. Every weapon type also gains chain attacks while sliding.
The “Box of Fortune” has been added to the Mysterious Shop. Each box costs 100 silver, and you can buy up to three boxes every time the shop is restocked. The patch also adds 51 knowledge entries under “Collectibles – Contract.”
Combat and action changes
Retrying a boss battle after dying now keeps the settings you adjusted during the previous attempt. The saved settings cover knowledge obtained through observation, your primary and secondary weapon, the selected element, arrows and food assigned to quick slots, and items set to be used instantly.
- “Aerial Force Palm” can now be used in safe zones.
- “Nature’s Snare” can be placed while flying, and Oongka and Damiane also gain it when it is learned through observation.
- The skill performed when using “Quick Swap” with a spear has been improved.
- Damiane gains a unique sit animation, and the range of the unarmed “Whirl Kick” was adjusted.
- The Queen Bismuth Oreback Crab has a new attack pattern, and the Wyvern’s dive animation was improved.
Content, controls, and UI improvements
The character loading screen now shows when loading as Oongka or Damiane, and the loading process has been optimized to cut load times slightly. The “Pets – Tailor’s Shop” has been renamed “Pet Shop,” and the Kuku Cooler and Enhanced Kuku Cooler can now be sold.
Several knowledge entries that previously became unobtainable after certain quests now have new ways to be acquired, including the Exploding Bismuth Spider, Jarback Crab, Skull Knight Followers, Jared, Darksworn Armor Spectral Soldier, and Giant Rock Tusk Warthog. Logging now drops Fine Timber when Logging Quality Up Lv 2 is active, and rematches are available at a stronghold undergoing reconstruction.
On the controls side, a key guide was added for “Explosive Evasive Shot,” and other inputs no longer fire while an interaction prompt is shown during aiming. On Mac, a fix lets you place house items with a keyboard and mouse again. In the UI, enemy icons on the Minimap now display reliably, and the Collectibles Chest shades owned and unowned slots differently so you can quickly see what you already have.
The Settings menu now lets you jump directly to the top or bottom, and a minimum font size prompt appears the first time you launch the game. Localization errors were fixed across all languages.

- Fixed items being placeable outside the housing area and furniture being taken out in an unplaceable state on keyboard and mouse.
- Fixed performance drops when riding certain mounts, when rotating the camera in some locations, and the camera shifting when entering Housing Mode.
- Fixed “Lightning Kick” being usable in safe zones, and tools being drawn while talking to NPCs.
- Fixed the fusion reactor core of the Sanctum of Penitence respawning after completion.
Wagons were also improved so they can free themselves instead of being destroyed when stuck in terrain, and a crime committed with no witnesses present now plays its related sound effects.
