Every achievement in The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales and how to unlock them

All 44 achievements, the three missable endings, and the grinds you should knock out as you play.

All 44 achievements, the three missable endings, and the grinds you should knock out as you play.

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales packs 44 achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore on Xbox, with matching trophies on PS5 and Steam, plus identical in-game completion tracking on Nintendo Switch 2. Most unlock on their own as you push through the story across the four ages, but a handful of grinds, collectibles, and missable endings need planning. Here is exactly what each one wants and how to trigger it.

Quick answer: Clear all three endings (the Bad, Standard, and True endings) in order, since the first two are missable once you commit to the True route. Then mop up the 200-kill weapon grinds, the cats, manuscripts, accessories, Faie’s powers, and the magicite ranks. Earning all 43 trackable achievements unlocks the platinum-equivalent “A Millennial Adventure.”

The three endings (and why two are missable)

The biggest trap for completionists is the ending structure. There are three endings, each tied to its own achievement and a colored stamp on your save file. The Bad and Standard endings are optional stops on the way to the True ending, and if you push too far down the True route you lose access to them. Grab each one as soon as it becomes available.

Note: Before you reach the boss at the bottom of the Northern Tower in the Age of Safekeeping, make a backup save right after you pick up the Tracing Needle. That is where the endings branch.

EndingAchievementHow to trigger
Bad (Bronze)As Long as Any Hope RemainsReachable after the Tracing Needle and the return to Huther. Enter the Northern Tower (Age of Safekeeping) and defeat the boss known as “The Sorcerer.”
Standard (Silver)The Peace in Which We WalkGet the Leytstaff sword from the Water Ruins, find the three sages to unlock the Nomutōta Mystic Seal, then return to the Northern Tower and beat the boss with the Mystic Seal attack.
True (Gold)At the Thousand-Year Journey’s EndAfter the Mystic Seal, revisit all three past ages for more scenes, collect Mao’s Pendant and the Amber Pendant, equip the Amber Pendant, then perform three perfect guards on the Northern Tower boss instead of killing it.

The True ending also expects you to have collected a good number of cats. Aim for at least 35, and ideally all 50, to secure every cat reward before you lock in the finale. After every ending you can create a clear save and reload into your playthrough, so collectible cleanup is still possible afterward, except for the two missable endings.

Story milestone achievements

These unlock automatically as you advance the main quest. You cannot miss them, and they roughly mark your progress through the time-travel structure built around the Doorway of Time.

Quest, vitality, and currency achievements

Side quests start appearing once you return from the Mist Ruins, with the first two being mandatory to continue the story. Talk to every NPC you pass, since some hand out quests and rewards. The quest and progression-based achievements stack naturally if you clear everything you find.

A Reliable AdventurerComplete every quest in the game.

Weapon kill grinds

There are seven weapon types, and each has its own kill-count achievement. Switch your equipped weapon to whichever type you still need and farm common enemies. These are the most time-consuming achievements, so spread them out as you explore the four ages rather than grinding them all at the end.

AchievementCondition
SwordmasterDefeat 200 enemies with the sword.
SpearmasterDefeat 200 enemies with the spear.
HammermasterDefeat 200 enemies with the hammer.
Chain-and-SicklemasterDefeat 200 enemies with the chain and sickle.

BoomerangmasterDefeat 200 enemies with the boomerang.
BombmasterDefeat 100 enemies with bombs.
Fighting FairyDefeat 30 enemies with Faie’s attacks.

Collection achievements: weapons, accessories, Faie, and magicite

Thorough exploration covers most of these. Open every chest, search hidden paths, and revisit older ages after you unlock bombs, since destroying rubble in a past age changes the world in later ages and reveals new routes.

AchievementCondition
Arms MasterAcquire every weapon type.
Weapons CollectorAcquire every weapon, including those down hidden paths.
Accessory CollectorAcquire every accessory, excluding bonus items.
Wisdom RevealedLearn every fairy power for Faie.
Wisdom MasteredEnhance every fairy power for Faie.
First GenerationForm magicite for the first time.
Professor of MagiciteReach the maximum magicite form rank.
In Search of Ultimate MagiciteForm top-ranked magicite for the first time.

Cats, manuscripts, and the orphanage

Cats and manuscripts are scattered across all four eras, so use fast-travel guideposts to return and sweep zones you have already cleared. The cat collection ties into the True ending as well, which is another reason to prioritize it.

AchievementCondition
KatzenmeisterCollect every cat (50 total).
Kitty Came A-CallingHave a friendly cat visit the orphanage for the first time.
History’s TapestryAcquire every manuscript.

Challenge and combat trick achievements

A few achievements ask for specific combat encounters or systems. The rare enemies, the jewelrie and the Red Lizkit, only need to be beaten once each, so take them down whenever they appear rather than hunting them down separately.

AchievementCondition
Cardinal HeroClear the Hero’s Trial (gear up well before attempting it).
Practice PerfectClear all of Faie’s magic lessons.
Monster of FortuneDefeat a jewelrie for the first time.
Reaper of RuinDefeat a Red Lizkit for the first time.
Smooth FightingChain 30 bonus drops in a row.
Don’t Stop AdventuringAsk Faie for a revival for the first time after being defeated.

Easy cleanup achievements

These are simple to finish during normal play. Break containers, cut grass, and use healing items as you go, and they will fall into place well before the credits.

AchievementCondition
Good for Throwing and for BreakingDestroy 200 barrels and pots.
Master MowerCut grass 300 times.
One for the RoadUse medicine 30 times.

The full clear: A Millennial Adventure

The capstone achievement, A Millennial Adventure, unlocks once every other achievement is earned. You will know it landed the moment the final reward pops, leaving you with the complete set across the game’s three endings, weapon grinds, and full collectibles.

The smartest order is to handle the missable endings the instant each becomes available, keep a single weapon type rotating through normal combat so the 200-kill grinds tick over passively, and use the Doorway of Time to revisit older ages for cats, manuscripts, weapons, and accessories. Because you can reload after any ending and travel back through the eras once the right guideposts are active, nothing besides the Bad and Standard endings is permanently lost, so save before the Northern Tower boss and the path to 100 percent stays open.
