Snezhnaya is the northernmost nation of Teyvat, ruled by the Tsaritsa, the Cryo Archon, and home to the Fatui. The Transcendence “Sudden Snow” trailer pulled the curtain back on a large group of characters tied to the region, mixing two well-known Fatui Harbingers with a wave of brand-new names. Here is the full lineup and what each one does in the trailer.
Quick answer: Eleven Snezhnaya characters appear in the “Sudden Snow” trailer. Confirmed visions so far are Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya (Cryo), Vesna (Anemo), and Vodyanitsa (Hydro); the rest had no vision shown.

The table lists each name shown in the “Sudden Snow” trailer along with the element confirmed on screen. A dash means no vision was displayed yet, so the element is still unknown and could change before release.

Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya is the Tsaritsa and the Cryo Archon, and the trailer finally shows her face. Her vision is Cryo. The scene has her recalling a child who once called her mother, with the implication that the Heavenly Principles took the child away. The sequence closes with the Tsaritsa standing against Ronova and Rhinedottir of the Four Shades, framed as Snezhnaya’s open defiance of Celestia.
The two Fatui Harbingers: Pulcinella and Pantalone

“The Rooster” Pulcinella is the fifth-ranked Fatui Harbinger, and this is already his second showing across the Snezhnaya trailers, signaling a central role in the coming story. In his scene he raises “Project Stuzha” before a committee and asks for its approval, marking the project as a key thread of the arc.

“Regrator” Pantalone, full name Feofan Sergeyevich Veksel, is the ninth-ranked Harbinger and manages the Northland Bank in Liyue. He carries a resentment toward the gods over their control of resources and fixates on the idea of “Fair Exchange,” wanting to reverse the imbalance between gods and humans. He works alongside Pulcinella to push “Project Stuzha” forward.
The performance plot: Vodyanitsa, Alyosha, Odette, and Valeriy
A tense set piece around a singing performance ties four of the new characters together. Vodyanitsa takes the stage while Alyosha and Odette move against a target, and Valeriy steps in to stop them.

Vodyanitsa is the first character shown in the trailer, preparing for a singing performance as the Prima Soprano of the Korolevskiy Troupe. Her vision is confirmed as Hydro. Her lines are pointed, calling the rules of Teyvat curses, which reads as a direct challenge to the order set by the Heavenly Principles.

Alyosha first appears speaking warmly with Vodyanitsa. During her performance, though, he aims a rifle at one of the participants. When Valeriy confronts him, Alyosha blows a whistle to summon wolves to attack.

Odette works with Alyosha and Vodyanitsa. She keeps to the shadows and then surfaces directly behind the person Alyosha was targeting, reading as an assassin. The trio appears set on breaking free from the rules that bind them.

Valeriy steps in to stop Alyosha from firing on a participant, pointing to a role as a security officer that his outfit reinforces. He is a huge man, close to Varka in scale, and when he attacks the silhouette of a bear rises out of him. Whether the bear is purely symbolic of his strength or an actual summoning mechanic is not yet clear.
The new Snezhnaya faces: Noy, Mitya, Vesna, and Danica

Noy has a short appearance that still lands hard. He calls the present age peaceful compared to “eons gone by,” a line that suggests he has existed for a very long time. His pointed ears hint that he may belong to the same race of fallen angels as Nicole.

Mitya says little in the trailer. He sits reading books in front of large machinery topped by a giant dial and mentions “the Kresnik’s Torch.”

Vesna belongs to the Druzhna, a security group that serves the Tsaritsa. She directs a squad of soldiers to search the area. She has small butterfly wings on her back and the same pointed ears seen on Noy and Nicole, and her vision is Anemo.

Danica appears to serve aboard the Snezhnaya trains shown earlier. She handles threats in a calm, formal manner, and despite the maid presentation she reads as a very capable fighter.
Snezhnaya characters already in the game
Two Snezhnaya natives are already playable, and one more from the region is on the upcoming roster. Their details are settled, unlike the trailer cast above.
| Character | Rarity | Element | Weapon | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Arlecchino | 5-Star | Pyro | Polearm | Playable |
| Tartaglia (Childe) | 5-Star | Hydro | Bow | Playable |
| Sandrone | 5-Star | Cryo | Claymore | Upcoming |
Note: Visions for the trailer characters can still shift before release, and several of these names had no element shown at all. Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya (Cryo), Vesna (Anemo), and Vodyanitsa (Hydro) are the only confirmed visions so far. Treat the unconfirmed names as in-progress until HoYoverse locks in their kits.
