Grand Theft Auto has always lived and died by what you can climb into and drive away. With Grand Theft Auto VI heading to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026, the rolling stock is already shaping up to be the biggest in series history, and a huge chunk of it has already shown up in trailers, screenshots, and Rockstar’s official marketing for the game.

Quick answer: More than 200 vehicles have already been confirmed for GTA 6 through official trailers and promotional material, spanning cars, motorcycles, boats, planes, helicopters, and public transport. The full categorized roster is below, including the rides locked to the Ultimate Edition.

How many vehicles GTA 6 has

Right now, roughly 200 distinct vehicles have been spotted in the two trailers and the various promotional images. That number is expected to climb past 300 at launch, which would make GTA 6 the most stacked entry the franchise has ever shipped on day one. For context, here is how that stacks up against earlier games.

GameVehicles
GTA III56
GTA Vice City102
GTA San Andreas189
GTA IV & Episodes177
GTA V (at launch)252
GTA V + GTA Online750+

None of these are licensed models. Rockstar builds fictional brands like Grotti, Pfister, and Declasse that clearly echo real manufacturers, since carmakers have never been keen on watching their products used to rob banks. That tradition carries straight into GTA 6, where the Cheetah leans on a Ferrari Testarossa and the Comet keeps borrowing from the Porsche 911.

Driving features and customization

The vehicles themselves are only half the story. GTA 6 supports both third-person and first-person driving views, and car mirrors actually reflect the world in real time. Interiors are deeply modeled, with interactive pedals, adjustable steering wheels, working speedometers and gauges, plus seats and sunvisors you can move.

Customization returns too. Rockstar has confirmed mod shops where you can upgrade engines, brakes, suspension, transmission, wheels, lights, and paint, with some shops locked behind the Ultimate Edition. You can buy vehicles from dealerships and showrooms scattered around the map, store them in safehouses and garages, and a slow-motion targeting ability tied to each protagonist makes drive-by chases feel different.

Plenty more is still hidden. A third trailer is expected to reveal additional models, and Rockstar’s history with GTA Online suggests the launch roster is only the starting point. For now, the lineup above represents what has genuinely surfaced, and it is already on track to be the deepest garage the series has offered.
