Bully for Bullit is an Old Camp side quest given by Syra, the cook who works for Gomez inside the main castle. She is being harassed by a warder named Bullit, and your job is to make him stop. The quickest path is to catch Bullit alone and drunk at night rather than starting a brawl in front of the castle guards.
Quick answer: Get castle access, talk to Syra in the kitchen at the right corner of the courtyard, then sleep until around midnight, and find Bullit walking the riverside path past the North Gate. Beat him there, return to Syra, and the quest completes for 500 XP and Syra’s Recipe.
Unlock the Old Camp castle to reach Syra
You cannot start this quest until you can enter the main castle area. That access comes through the Admission to the Old Camp questline. Complete Casting Shadows for Diego, then convince Thorus to let you through. If you would rather skip the work, Thorus can also be bribed with 1,000 Ore Nuggets.
Once you are inside, head to Syra’s kitchen at the far right corner of the courtyard. Turn left from the training grounds and look for the small doorway. She is usually sitting on the bench outside or cooking at the cauldron in her room.
Speak to Syra and press her on what is wrong. She refuses at first, but as you start to leave, she explains that Bullit keeps bothering her and that being Gomez’s cook gives her little real protection. This triggers the Bully for Bullit quest.
Tip: Before talking to Syra, visit Snaf nearby to start the Double, Double side quest. The two quests overlap, so you can finish part of both in one trip.
Where to find Bullit
Bullit has two reliable locations, and the right one makes the fight far easier.

The riverside route is the safer option. Sleep to pass the time until midnight, then catch Bullit as he staggers along the path. He carries no special attacks, so basic dodging and striking is enough to put him down. If you tackle him in the tavern instead, expect the surrounding guards to join in.
Note: If you already beat Bullit during an earlier encounter, you skip the fight entirely. Just approach him at the inn and warn him to leave Syra alone.
Beat Bullit and take his loot
Return to Syra to complete the quest
Head back to Syra’s room beside the castle. If she is not on the lower floor, climb the ladder near the entrance to reach the upper level. Tell her that Bullit will not trouble her again.
She thanks you and mentions she is thinking of fleeing to Swamp Camp for a better life. You can promise to scout it out for her. The quest ends here, and you receive 500 XP along with Syra’s Recipe.
You know it worked when the quest log marks Bully for Bullit as complete after this conversation, and the XP is awarded.
Link it to the Double, Double quest
If you have the Double, Double side quest active, finishing Bully for Bullit unlocks an extra option with Syra. Ask her for Syra’s Recipe, then deliver it to Snaf back in the Old Camp to push that quest forward. Starting Double, Double before you deal with Bullit lets you collect the recipe and close out both jobs without a second trip to the kitchen.
