Yangyang: Xuanling and Suisui headline the new Convene phases, alongside reruns and a six-character special banner.

Kuro Games has laid out the full Convene lineup for Wuthering Waves 3.5, and it splits across two phases plus a special banner. The update brings two brand-new Mengzhou characters, Yangyang: Xuanling and Suisui, while several older five-stars return through reruns and a dedicated rate-up pool.

Quick answer: Phase 1 features Yangyang: Xuanling (5-star Havoc) with Lynae and Luuk Herssen, while Phase 2 features Suisui (5-star Glacio) with Aemeath. A separate Starpath Reverbs banner runs alongside them, and the version is expected to launch on July 10, 2026, right after 3.4 ends.

When Wuthering Waves 3.5 goes live

Version 3.5 is expected to release on July 10, 2026, directly after Version 3.4 wraps up. The 3.4 patch, which carries the Cyberpunk collab and the debuts of Lucy, Rebecca, and Lucilla, runs from June 8 to July 9, 2026, so the handover lines up with the studio’s usual six-week cycle.

The banner details were confirmed during the official 3.5 special preview broadcast, which aired on June 26, 2026. That same stream also introduced Xuanfang Hold, a new mechanical region set above the abyss.

Phase 1 banner: Yangyang: Xuanling, Lynae, and Luuk Herssen

Yangyang: Xuanling leads the first half of 3.5. She is a Havoc DPS who relies on the Havoc Bane status effect to deal damage, uses a sword, and is the first playable Mengzhou character. Lynae and Luuk Herssen share the spotlight as the returning five-stars.

Phase 2 banner: Suisui and Aemeath

Suisui debuts in the second half as the next Mengzhou addition. She is a Glacio support built around the Negative Status effect archetype and uses a Rectifier. She stays available through the end of the 3.5 run. Aemeath, a Fusion DPS and one of the stronger meta picks, reruns alongside her.

The weapon banner this phase carries Suisui’s Rectifier, Firstlight’s Herald, and Aemeath’s sword, Everbright Polestar, both for a limited time.

Starpath Reverbs special banner

A separate special banner called Starpath Reverbs runs during 3.5, rotating in six older five-star Resonators and their signature weapons. This gives returning players a chance at characters who have been off the schedule for a while.

3.5 livestream codes and how to redeem them

The 3.5 preview broadcast handed out three redeem codes. Each one grants 100 Astrite plus extra mats, and all three expire on June 28, 2026 at 8:59 PT, so claim them before that cutoff.

CodeRewards
MECHANISMCITY100 Astrite, 4 Premium Resonance Potion, 5 Advanced Energy Core
INTOTHEFOG100 Astrite, 2 Forgery Premium Supply, 20,000 Shell Credits
REUNION100 Astrite, 20 Premium Tuners, 5 Advanced Sealed Tubes
Open the in-game menu and find the redemption option under settings. Make sure your account has cleared the early tutorial so the code field is unlocked.
Enter one code exactly as shown, in capital letters, and confirm. The rewards land in your in-game mail, so a successful redemption shows a new mail entry with the Astrite and items attached.

If a code is rejected, the most common reasons are simple. It was already used on that account, it was typed with the wrong characters, or it has passed the June 28 expiry. After that date, none of the three will work.

With both new characters confirmed and the rerun pools set, you can plan your Astrite now. Save for Yangyang: Xuanling in Phase 1 if you want the first Mengzhou DPS, or hold for Suisui and the Aemeath rerun in Phase 2, and treat Starpath Reverbs as a bonus shot at older five-stars.
