The Love is Love challenge in BitLife is one of the longer weekly trials because it spans an entire lifetime, from where your character is born to how they treat their kids decades later. It rewards acceptance across several relationships, and the last task relies on a bit of luck, so it pays to set up your character correctly from the very first screen.
Quick answer: Create a custom life born in Phoenix, set your sexuality to bisexual, marry one man and one woman in separate marriages, have at least three children with each spouse (six total), and choose to unconditionally support a child when they come out to you.
The five Love is Love tasks
You do not need any expansion packs or special career to finish this one. It is a free weekly challenge, so anyone can complete it. Here is what the game asks for.
| Task | What it requires |
|---|---|
| Be born in Arizona | Start a custom life in the United States and pick a place in Arizona (usually Phoenix) |
| Marry a man | Date, propose, and hold a wedding with a male partner |
| Marry a woman | Do the same with a female partner in a separate marriage |
| Have 3+ children with each spouse | At least three kids per spouse, six in total |
| Accept a child who comes out | Choose to support them unconditionally when the pop-up appears |

Add to Google Preferences →Be born in Arizona by choosing Phoenix
This step trips people up because Arizona never appears as a place by name. You have to pick a city inside the state instead, and Phoenix is the capital that shows up most often.

Marry both a man and a woman
You need two separate marriages over the course of your life, one to a man and one to a woman. These do not happen at the same time, so plan to fully finish your first marriage before starting the second.

Have three children with each spouse
You need three or more kids with both spouses, so six children in total. How you have them depends on your gender and your spouse’s gender. With an opposite-sex partner you can conceive directly. With a same-sex partner you either adopt or use the Fertility menu.
| Pairing | How to have children |
|---|---|
| Opposite-sex couple | Remove birth control, then use Relationships > Spouse > Make Love repeatedly until you have three kids |
| Female with a female spouse | Open Activities > Fertility and use the sperm donor or artificial insemination option, or adopt |
| Male with a male spouse | Adopt three children together through the adoption menu |
Keep each spouse’s relationship happiness high while you do this, and buy a property large enough to house the whole family, or your home life will start to fall apart. Age matters too. The older your character gets, the lower your chances of conceiving, so do not leave the second batch of kids until late in life.

Accept a child who comes out to you
As your children grow up, a pop-up may appear telling you one of them has come out. You will be given options that include ignoring, ridiculing, or supporting them. Choose to support them unconditionally to clear the final task.
This event is random, which is why having six children helps. The more kids you have, the higher the odds that at least one of them comes out during their life. Spending time with your children and talking to them often also keeps your relationship strong, so they feel safe sharing it with you.
Note: It is possible to live an entire life without any child coming out. If that happens, the task simply will not complete, and you will need to start a new character and run through the challenge again.
How to confirm the challenge is complete
Each of the five tasks gets a checkmark in the challenge menu as you finish it. Once all five are ticked, the Love is Love challenge is done and your free reward unlocks. If a task refuses to check off, it is almost always one of these reasons.
- You were not born in Arizona because you picked a city in another state rather than Phoenix.
- You only dated a partner without actually holding a wedding, so the marriage did not register.
- You married both genders but fell short of three children with one of the spouses.
- No child came out during their lifetime, which is purely down to luck.
Get the foundation right at character creation, keep your relationships healthy, and stack up the kids early, and the only thing left to chance is that final coming-out moment. With six children in the household, those odds tend to fall in your favor before the timer on the weekly challenge runs out.
