Auras are purely cosmetic effects in The Strongest Battlegrounds. They wrap your character in an animated visual style, like Shadow, Glitch, or Lightning, without changing your damage, health, or moveset. You get them in one of two ways, by grinding kills or by spending Robux on a spin wheel.
Quick answer: Unlock an Aura for free by reaching its kill requirement (from 4,000 kills for Ki up to 35,700 kills for Void), or pay Robux to spin the Auras tab for a random chance at one you don’t already own.
Two ways to get Auras
The free route is a straight grind. Each Aura has a fixed kill count, and once your total kills cross that number, the Aura unlocks automatically and becomes equippable from the cosmetics menu. There is no separate purchase step for unlocked Auras.
The paid route uses a spin wheel that costs Robux. A single spin is 79 Robux, three spins are 237 Robux, and five spins are 395 Robux. The wheel shows six slots filled with random Accessories and Auras drawn only from items you do not already own, so every spin can return either an Accessory or an Aura.
| Spin option | Robux cost |
|---|---|
| 1 Spin | 79 Robux |
| 3 Spins | 237 Robux |
| 5 Spins | 395 Robux |

All Auras and kill requirements
The full list runs from Ki at 4,000 kills all the way up to Void at 35,700 kills. Below, the Auras are ordered from the cheapest grind to the most demanding, so you can see what to chase first.
| Aura | Kills to unlock |
|---|---|
Ki | 4,000 |
| Lightning | 4,600 |
| Dark | 5,600 |
| Stench | 5,900 |
Error | 6,700 |
Colorful | 7,500 |
| Glitch | 8,250 |
Graceful | 9,000 |
Crimson | 9,500 |
Burning | 10,000 |
Shadow | 20,000 |
| Midnight | 25,000 |
| Gold | 30,000 |
| Love | 32,750 |
| Frozen | 33,500 |
| Flower | 33,500 |
| Void | 35,700 |
Note: Frozen and Flower both unlock at 33,500 kills, so once you hit that milestone you earn both at the same threshold. Void sits at the top of the grind at 35,700 kills, making it the longest free unlock in the game.
Confirming an Aura unlocked
When your kill total crosses a threshold, the matching Aura appears in the Auras tab of the cosmetics menu as an owned item you can equip. If you bought a spin, the result lands in the same tab once the wheel stops. If the Aura is not showing, you have not yet reached its kill count, or in the case of a spin, the wheel returned an Accessory or an item you already had.
Since Auras are cosmetic only, equipping one changes how your character looks during a match but has no effect on combat. That makes the kill grind the cheapest path if you are patient, and the Robux spin the fastest path if you want a specific look sooner.
