Three Exotic weapons are floating around the Chapter 7 Season 3 loot pool right now, and none of them are locked behind a boss or a puzzle. The Hop Rock Dualies, the SlapBerry Fizz, and the Lawless Stink Rifle all dropped in as part of the Summer Event, and each carries a special effect that a standard weapon of the same class does not have.
Quick answer: Open chests, rare chests, and fishing spots (including Golden Fishing Spots) until one appears. All three Exotics are pure RNG floor loot, so there is no fixed location to visit and no quest to complete.
Where Exotic weapons come from this season
Unlike last season, there is no dedicated machine or vendor handing out Exotics. Epic put them straight back into the general loot pool, so they can surface anywhere on the island. That makes them widely available in theory, but genuinely rare to pull in a single match.
The sources that can roll an Exotic are chests, rare chests, and fishing spots. Golden Fishing Spots are worth prioritizing, since they can hand you an Exotic and tend to reward Gold Sprites at the same time. There is no way to guarantee a specific Exotic from any of these, so it comes down to how many drops you can crack open before the storm forces you to move.

All three Exotics and what they do
Every Exotic in the pool right now is a returning item, including the Lawless Stink Rifle, which last appeared in Chapter 6 Season 2. Here is what each one does when you get it in hand.
| Weapon | Type | Effect |
|---|---|---|
![]() Hop Rock Dualies | Pistol | Gives you the Hop Rock low-gravity effect while you fire. |
![]() SlapBerry Fizz | Consumable | Heals both health and shield, and grants the Slap and FlowBerry Fizz effect for infinite stamina and low gravity. |
![]() Lawless Stink Rifle | Marksman Rifle | Creates a Stink Cloud on bullet impact that damages enemy health. |
The Hop Rock Dualies are the trick-shot favorite of the group, letting you float mid-fight for aerial plays. The SlapBerry Fizz is a strong panic button because it restores both bars and hands you mobility at the same time. The Lawless Stink Rifle turns a marksman weapon into area denial, chipping away at anyone caught in the cloud.
How long the Exotics stay in the loot pool
These Exotics arrived with the Summer Event, which began June 25 at 4 AM ET. The event items are set to run until July 9, after which the Exotics and the other unvaulted Summer Event gear are expected to be vaulted. If you want the Hop Rock Dualies or either of the others, grab them before that window closes.
Note: The loot pool shifts as the season moves along. Epic could add more Exotics later, and it could pull the current ones with a future update, so treat the July 9 date as the point where the Summer Event rotation is planned to end.
Fastest way to actually land one
Because every source is RNG, there is no shortcut that forces an Exotic to appear. Volume is the only reliable lever, so keep opening containers and fishing until the Summer Event ends. With three distinct effects on offer, it is worth rolling for whichever one fits how you like to play before the window shuts.
