Gakuran: How to Reroll Your Fighting Style and Stats (Robux Costs)

Where each reroll menu lives, what it costs in Robux, and how to spend free reroll charges on the styles that matter.

Where each reroll menu lives, what it costs in Robux, and how to spend free reroll charges on the styles that matter.

Gakuran locks each character into one identity and one fighting style at creation, and the only way to change either is to reroll. The catch is that stats and combat styles use two separate menus, cost different amounts, and hand you a random result every time. Knowing which button spends what keeps you from burning Robux on the wrong roll.

Quick answer: Open the left-side menu and go to Stats to reroll appearance and identity attributes, and open the combat menu (reached through Stats → Next → Fight Style) to reroll your fighting style. Pick the field, press the circular arrow, then confirm the Robux payment or spend a free reroll charge. Every result is random.

Two reroll systems, two menus

Most of your character is built from independent stats you can change one at a time. Rerolling any single one leaves everything else untouched, so a name roll never wipes your build and a height roll never resets your style. The common panic that “one reroll rerolls my whole character” is wrong. Each roll changes only the category you selected.

Your fighting style sits in the combat section and carries far more weight in a fight. It sets your M1 attack animations, your special move (activated with T during combat), your passive perks, and your PvP matchups. Both systems are random and category-specific, so you spend on one thing and only that thing changes.

How to reroll your fighting style

Launch Gakuran on Roblox and enter the game. Some servers require you to join the official Gakuran community group and have at least five friends on your account before rerolls unlock, so sort that out first if the reroll buttons do nothing.
Open the menu on the side of your screen and select Stats. Press Next to reach the second page of attributes, then find the Fight Style field showing your current style.
Press the circular arrow reroll button next to your fighting style, then confirm the payment. Your current style is overwritten by a random one from the pool. You only ever hold one style at a time, so if you roll off Boxing into Muay Thai, Boxing is gone until you roll back to it.

A random new fighting style is assigned based on the game’s rarity system.

Before you roll again, use the Show Perks button on the Fight Style field to read your current style’s passives. That way you can compare what you already have against what you want without testing every style in combat.

How to reroll appearance and identity stats

Open the main menu from the left side of the screen. If it appears collapsed, press the left arrow to expand it so the stat categories show.
Select Stats and find the single attribute you want to change, such as height, ethnicity, or a name field. The first page holds personal data and the second holds appearance and accessory slots.
Click the circular arrow next to that field and confirm the payment. Only that attribute changes to a new random value. There are 14 rerollable stats in total.
CategoryRerollable fields
IdentityFirst name, last name, gender, ethnicity
BodyHeight
AppearanceHair, hair colour, face
AccessoriesHead, face, neck, arm, waist

Note: Height is the one “cosmetic” stat that actually affects combat. Taller builds generally get larger hitboxes, more health, longer reach, and slower attacks, while shorter builds trade raw stats for smaller hitboxes and faster combos. Height and ethnicity are weighted rolls, so rarer results can take several attempts.

Reroll costs in Robux

Costs are cheap per roll, but they add up when you chase a rare result. The figures below reflect current in-game pricing. Some community reports quote much higher style costs, which likely reflect older builds or differences by server, so treat anything outside these numbers as uncertain.

Reroll typeCost
Character statAround 2 Robux per attribute
Fighting style5 Robux per roll
Reroll bundle50 rerolls for 500 Robux

Buying the bundle from the Stats screen banks reroll charges you can spend at the confirmation step in place of Robux, on either menu.

Fighting styles and their rarity

Every style reroll pulls from a weighted pool, so common styles appear far more often than the standouts. You cannot pick a specific style. You only improve your odds by rolling more. The rarity tiers and confirmed perks currently seen in play are below.

StyleTier / chanceKey perks
BasicCommon (~59%)Counterstrike (+5% damage after perfect block), Swift Recovery (+15% posture regen), Guard Pierce II (15% chip), Resilience II (25% grapple clash)
Muay ThaiUncommon (~30%)Powerful (ragdoll M2), Crushing Force II (+15% posture damage), Guard Pierce V (30% chip), Resilience V (55% grapple clash)
KarateUncommon (~30%)Steady Nerves (+15% posture regen after perfect block), Balanced Strike (refunds 25% posture on M2), Guard Pierce II, Resilience II
BoxingEpic (~10%)Untouchable (M2 iFrames), Perfect Reflex (-1s M2 cooldown on perfect block), Guard Pierce III (20% chip)
HakariEpic (~10%)Momentum Rush (4 M1s grants a 7s window where M2 deals 3x), Powerful (ragdoll M2), Guard Pierce II
WrestlingLegendary (~1%)Takedown Grab (M2 slam for 1.5x with hyperarmor), Heavy Hitter III (+15% guardbreak), Guard Pierce II, Resilience V (55% grapple clash)
Hoop DemonRareSpace-control moveset widely rated the strongest style in the game; can take several rolls to land

The exact drop rates are community estimates, not official numbers, and the pool has shifted between builds. Other styles such as Slugger and Capoeira have also appeared, so treat any list as a snapshot rather than a fixed roster.

How to get free rerolls

You do not have to pay real money to reroll. Redeemable codes are the most reliable source of free reroll charges, and new ones tend to arrive right after an update. Codes like GAKURAN (10 rerolls) and 15REROLLS (15 rerolls) grant charges you spend from the Stats menu.

A common mistake wastes these. After redeeming a code, switch to the Stats menu and spend the charges on the attribute or style you want. Staying on the Codes panel does nothing. Login bonuses, update celebrations, and visit-count milestones can also hand out short-lived free rerolls, usually lasting a few days to a week, and the developers have said a new in-game currency is planned to let you earn rolls through play.

When to stop rerolling

Set a budget before you start so you do not overspend chasing a rare result. If you are new, do not spend anything on style rerolls yet. Basic’s perks are solid fundamentals, and parry timing, spacing, weaving, and the slam/stomp combo decide fights far more than which style you hold at beginner level.

If you are hunting Hoop Demon specifically at roughly a 10% chance, cap yourself at five or ten attempts rather than rolling endlessly. Land a style you enjoy and stop. Once a new style is yours, give it 20 to 30 fights before judging it, since every style feels awkward while your muscle memory is still carrying habits from the last one.
