Fischfest (summer limited event)
Fischfest is Fisch’s summer celebration and the developer bills it as the game’s biggest event so far. It leans into a beach theme: there are special summer quests to work through, limited-time fish that only wash up along the shoreline while the event is live, and a seasonal makeover to match. Because the limited catches are tied to the event window, they are the main reason to jump in before it closes.
The event opened on June 20, 2026 and runs until September 5, 2026. Both the start and the end are set for 12:00 PM ET (9:00 AM PT, 5:00 PM UK time), so the last day to take part is September 5 up until midday Eastern. With more than 150,000 players signed up as interested, it is drawing far more attention than anything else the game has scheduled.
Drylands (desert expansion, now ended)
Drylands, subtitled the Stormy Dunes, was a limited desert expansion that opened up a new region of the game. It sent Fischers into a scorching stretch of dunes filled with ancient fossils and hazardous weather, added new fish to reel in there, and buried a colossal predator beneath the sand for players to track down.
It was a brief run. The expansion opened on July 4, 2026 and closed just two days later on July 6, 2026, both at 12:00 PM ET (9:00 AM PT, 5:00 PM UK time). Close to 40,000 players marked themselves interested, a strong turnout for a two-day drop but still a fraction of Fischfest’s numbers. Its short window is a good example of how Fisch slots quick, themed events around its longer summer headline.
