The marquee event at the moment is the Mutation Update, a free update that is live now and runs through Saturday, October 24, 2026. The Mutation Update went live on Friday, October 2, 2026 and its window closes on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 11:00 PM ET — that’s 3:00 AM UTC on October 25, 8:00 PM PT on the US West Coast, and 3:00 AM Sunday in the UK. It’s well into its run, with a few days before it wraps.
The hook is a set of ten mutations that trigger every few rounds and rewrite how a match plays — seekers that flicker invisible, gravity that cuts out, paint that refuses to stick, and more to uncover. Stacking two or three mutations at once pushes coin rewards as high as 5x. The update also adds a mutation almanac that logs every mutation you’ve survived, new nameplates that show off your level, weapon and win streak, and a fix that stops players climbing over the map walls, along with assorted map and mode tweaks.
