The Sentient status effect it applies does not stack on itself, but it makes future status effects from other sources more likely to proc, which opens up some priming interactions.

The battery works differently from a standard magazine. Haalvu does not use ammo pickups. After you stop firing, there is a 0.5-second delay, then it regenerates 300 rounds per second, refilling a fully drained battery in about half a second. You can also reload to instantly top off the full magazine at no cost. If the battery empties completely, the weapon enters a two-second reload animation that cannot be triggered manually.
Burst mode and auto-targeting
Pressing alt-fire swaps Haalvu between full-auto and burst mode. In burst mode, the barrels split into eight miniature floating rifles that fire two-shot bursts and lock onto up to four enemies within 40 degrees of the reticle and within 10 meters of you. Primary Deadhead is the preferred arcane because Haalvu wants out-of-the-gate damage more than raw status stacking.
