Gotham has washed up on the Fortnite island for the DC Hot Bat Summer event, and it comes with six questlines full of easy XP and free cosmetics. The objectives roll out in weekly batches through Chapter 7 Season 3, and each set hands over a themed reward once you clear enough of it. Here is exactly what you need to do, and what you get for doing it.
Quick answer: Complete any 4 quests inside each of the six questlines to earn that line’s reward. Clearing 4 quests in all six questlines also grants the Zap-Brella Glider. Every individual quest awards 10,000 XP, and the full event runs until August 20, 2026.
Hot Bat Summer rewards and how to earn them
Each questline is tied to a single cosmetic. You do not have to finish all six objectives in a line, just four of them. The Glider sits on top as a completion bonus once you have done that across every line.

You will know a reward is yours when the quest tracker flips the completed count to 4 and the cosmetic appears in your locker after the match ends.

Only the first questline is live right now. Each following set stays locked until its release day, and you must finish 4 quests in the current line to open the next one when it arrives.

Finishing 4 of these unlocks the Beach Body Batman Banner Icon. Most can stack across several matches, so there is no need to rush them in one go.

Clear 4 here for The Decked Knight Spray. This line leans on landing spots and looting, so plan your drop before the bus leaves.

Complete 4 for The Caped Cooler-sader Pickaxe. Two of these ask you to avoid touching trees and plants, so keep that in mind before you start harvesting.

Wrecking is Relaxing quests
Four of these earn The Dark Knight Relaxes Loading Screen. The “Touch brass” objective is the odd one out and its trigger is not yet clear, so treat it as skippable and finish the other five.

Finish 4 to claim G’Nort’s Summer Tote Back Bling. The Batman Sprite extraction quest can be tricky, but you can ignore it and still hit four completions.

Embrace the Bat quests
The final line rewards a Mythic Batman Sprite for 4 completions. A couple of these need a Batman Sprite equipped, so pick up one first if you plan to chase those specific objectives.
