Because shotgun kills and VSSM kills count double toward their respective challenges, the fastest route is to run those weapons deliberately rather than grind neutral kills. A single strong shotgun round or a few VSSM eliminations moves the meter twice as fast.
M87A1 24′ Extended: what it does
The M87A1 24′ Extended fits a non-double-barreled shotgun and is built for close-range fights. It raises the projectile velocity of the weapon, so pellets reach the target faster and enemies have less time to break your line of fire. That makes hits easier to land in tight spaces.
There is a trade-off. Equipping it lowers your aim-down-sight speed and slightly reduces your overall mobility. Treat it as a specialist part for indoor and corridor maps where the velocity gain matters more than quick handling.
1P86 LPVO: what it does
The 1P86 LPVO is a low-power variable optic that sits alongside the SU-230 LPVO as an alternative sight. Where the SU-230 covers a 1.0x to 4.0x magnification range, the 1P86 gives you 1.5x to 4.5x. The 0.5x bump sounds small, but the extra reach can decide a mid-range trade in your favor.

How to know a challenge is done
Each challenge tracks your kills and assists automatically as you play, so you do not need to activate anything beforehand.
