I Am As You Behold is Gilgamesh’s signature Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail 4.4, running alongside him during the Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] collaboration that opened on July 24, 2026. You can warp for it on the Age of Gods Golden Gate event, or claim it without warping once you have spent 200 Star Rail Special Passes across the collab banners. That second route matters if you are already pulling for Rin Tohsaka or Gilgamesh Eidolons, since the Light Cone effectively falls into your lap.
Quick answer: You can skip I Am As You Behold. Gilgamesh is a free 5-star who clears endgame content at his base version, and generic Destruction Light Cones cover his damage needs without spending Stellar Jade.
What I Am As You Behold Does
At Superimposition 1, the Light Cone raises the wearer’s ATK by 18% and Energy Regeneration Rate by 10%. When Gilgamesh casts his Ultimate, every point of Energy spent adds 0.2% Ultimate DMG for that cast, up to a 72% ceiling. Because Enuma Elish carries a very high Energy cost, that cap is easy to reach on a full bar.
Entering combat or using his Ultimate also grants King’s Entertainment for 3 turns. While it holds, every ally gains 24% CRIT DMG. Effects of the same type cannot stack, so only one copy of that buff applies to the team at a time.

Why You Can Skip It
The stats are tuned to Gilgamesh’s kit, but they do not solve his real bottleneck. His rotation leans on allies feeding him Interest and Energy, and the 10% Energy Regeneration Rate here is not enough to change how often Enuma Elish fires while he is on the field. His own passives and a battery support handle that job better.
The team-wide CRIT DMG buff looks appealing, but at 24% it is not large enough to justify a warp on its own. Gilgamesh already hands allies ATK and CRIT DMG through his Hegemon’s Strife trace, so the Light Cone’s team utility overlaps with what he provides for free.
Most importantly, Gilgamesh is a free login-event unit. He is designed to scale with team investment rather than a single premium Light Cone, and his Eidolons change his kit far more than any weapon does. If you have limited Stellar Jade, the signature is the wrong place to spend it.
Alternatives That Work Fine on Gilgamesh
Several generic Destruction Light Cones cover his ATK scaling and CRIT needs without any collab pulls. A Secret Vow, A Trail of Bygone Blood, Under the Blue Sky, and On the Fall of an Aeon all slot in cleanly. On the Fall of an Aeon is especially convenient since it is a farmable 5-star and stacks ATK% as he attacks, which he does often.

There are two paths to I Am As You Behold. You can warp directly on the Age of Gods Golden Gate Light Cone banner, which runs at the same time as Gilgamesh during the collaboration. Or you can let it come as a bonus after spending 200 Star Rail Special Passes on the collab banners, which is realistic only if you are already chasing Rin Tohsaka’s or Gilgamesh’s copies.
Note: no official end time for the Gilgamesh and Rin collaboration banners has been confirmed, so treat the window as open-ended until it appears in game. If you plan to pull, save your Stellar Jade before committing rather than spending it on a Light Cone you do not strictly need.
For a free unit who already carries endgame content at E0, that Stellar Jade is better held for the paid headliners in the same lineup. I Am As You Behold sharpens Gilgamesh, but it is a luxury layered on top of a character who performs well without it.
