Cloud Jasper is the five-star Sword built for Qingxiao, the Aero main DPS arriving in Wuthering Waves Version 3.6. It pairs a large base attack value with a Crit. Rate second stat, then layers on a stacking Aero damage buff that eventually punches through enemy defense. The stats, passive, and upgrade materials have surfaced from beta data, so you can plan a pull budget and pre-farm before the banner opens.
Quick answer: At level 90, Cloud Jasper has 500 Base ATK and 36% Crit. Rate. Its passive grants +12% ATK and stacking Aero DMG Bonus after you apply Tune Strain – Shifting, and at max stacks the buff extends to 15 seconds and ignores 10% of the target’s DEF.
Note: These values come from pre-release beta testing and can change before Qingxiao goes live.

Cloud Jasper stats at level 90
The base numbers put Cloud Jasper firmly in the offensive Sword category. The Crit. Rate secondary stat frees up your Echo and substat slots to chase Crit. DMG and ATK% instead of scrambling for enough crit to hit a reliable rate.
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Rarity | 5-star Sword |
| Base ATK (Lv. 90) | 500 |
| Secondary stat | Crit. Rate 36% |
| Best user | Qingxiao (Aero main DPS) |

The passive effect, read at Syntonization Rank I, has three parts that build on each other. The flat ATK boost is always active, while the Aero damage stacks depend entirely on Qingxiao applying Tune Strain – Shifting during her rotation.
| Effect | Detail |
|---|---|
| ATK increase | +12% for the wielder |
| Aero DMG Bonus stack | +11.2% per stack after applying Tune Strain – Shifting |
| Stack duration | 2 seconds base |
| Max stacks | 5 |
| Trigger interval | Once every 0.5 seconds |
| At max stacks | Duration extends to 15 seconds and Aero DMG ignores 10% of the target’s DEF |
At five stacks the buff is worth 56% Aero DMG Bonus, the duration jumps from a fleeting 2 seconds to a comfortable 15, and the defense-ignore kicks in. That defense-shred window is the real payoff, since it raises the effective damage of Qingxiao’s Aero hits without needing any change to her stat sheet. Because the effect keys off Tune Strain – Shifting, the weapon rewards a rotation that applies that debuff early and keeps it live.
Cloud Jasper ascension materials
Leveling Cloud Jasper to 90 requires two material families in bulk. You can start banking both now, well ahead of Version 3.6, so the weapon is ready the moment you pull it.
| Material | Quantity |
|---|---|
| LF Mech Core | 6 |
| MF Mech Core | 6 |
| HF Mech Core | 10 |
| FF Mech Core | 12 |
| Broken Wing Polarizer | 6 |
| Monowing Polarizer | 8 |
| Polywing Polarizer | 6 |
| Layered Wing Polarizer | 20 |
Where to farm the materials
- Mech Cores drop from Clamoring Tacet Discords in Lahai-Roi, including the Sabercat Reaver, Geospider S4, and Spacetrek Explorer.
- The Wing Polarizer set, from Broken Wing up through Layered Wing, comes from the Fallen Sanctum Forgery Challenge in Etching Plains, Lahai-Roi.
Both farming spots are already in the game, so there is no need to wait for the patch to stock up. Clear the Clamoring Tacet Discords for the four Mech Core tiers and run the forgery challenge for the polarizers.
Should you chase Cloud Jasper
Cloud Jasper is tuned so tightly to Qingxiao’s Tune Strain playstyle that it acts as a near-perfect fit for her. The high base attack, built-in Crit. Rate, stacking Aero bonus, and defense-ignore all line up with how she wants to fight. If you plan to run her as your on-field Aero carry, this weapon squeezes the most out of her kit. Players who skip the banner weapon still have strong alternatives, but the defense-shred at max stacks is the piece hardest to replace elsewhere.
Qingxiao is expected in Phase 1 of Version 3.6, with the update estimated to arrive around August 20, 2026. Until Kuro Games runs its official broadcast, treat every number here as provisional and check the final in-game values before committing your resources.
