Phase 1: Qingxiao, the Aero sword carry
Qingxiao is the marquee pull of the patch and a 5-star Aero Resonator who wields a Sword. She was introduced in the Version 3.5 story as the Paragon of Mengzhou, appearing in a cutscene where she summons a storm of giant swords to wipe out corrupted Autopuppets in a single strike. Her design leans full xianxia, with flowing blue hair, cloud accessories, and blue-gold-white robes.
In combat she plays as a Main DPS with a dual-resource system. Guqin (zither) attacks build Zither Heart stacks while sword attacks build Sword Intent stacks. Reaching 5 of each unlocks her Sword Immortal State, and hitting 7 of each opens an execute against low-HP enemies. Her Resonance Liberation, the Myriad Sword Judgment Array, is a flying-sword barrage, and her dodge lets her ride a sword through the air.
The key detail for team building is that Qingxiao applies Tune Strain herself. That slots her into the Tune Strain support line and makes Denia and Mornye natural partners, giving Aero teams a carry that scales off the same debuff loop Lynae comps rely on.

Jingran is the only male Resonator in this Mengzhou batch and closes out the patch as a 5-star Fusion character using a Broadblade. In the 3.5 story, Suisui hired him to navigate the fog and map the Fogveil Pagoda under the alias Cat of the Nether Lamp. His look reads as a hooded tomb-raider necromancer, with a white hair streak, heterochromia, and a glowing lantern. Early art showed a polearm, which caused some confusion, but beta gameplay confirms the Broadblade.
He is a Main DPS built on HP scaling and self-sustain rather than a glass cannon. He opens in an Embracing Yang stance and swaps to Negative Yin through Heavy Attacks, spending Qi on empowered Heavy Attacks while keeping his Life Fire lit. His shields feed a Ghost Ward passive, so survivability and damage share the same loop, with a tester demo running near 50,000 HP.
His Resonance Liberation, named “Extinguish the Life Lamp,” opens a ghost gate and pulls enemies into an independent combat domain while his Ultimate is active. His leaked best team pairs him with Iuno, his strongest Heavy Attack buffer, plus a healer like Shorekeeper. Budget players can substitute Mortefi and Baizhi.
