Palworld Legendary Heat Resistant Pelt Armor Schematic: Location and Stats

Where the schematic drops, what it costs to craft, and how much stronger it is than the standard version.

The Legendary Heat Resistant Pelt Armor is the top-rarity version of Palworld’s heat-proof fur armor, and you can only build it once its schematic is sitting in your inventory. It keeps the same fire and heat protection as the standard piece while pushing defense, HP, and durability far higher, which makes it a worthwhile mid-game upgrade for volcano runs and fire-type fights.

Quick answer: Find the Legendary Heat Resistant Pelt Armor Schematic in treasure chests at the Level 30 Oil Rig, from Treasure Map digs, and from certain other Treasure Boxes. The drop rate is low, so expect repeat runs. Once you have it, craft the armor with Leather x30, Flame Organ x8, Ingot x20, and Ancient Civilization Parts x1.

Where the schematic drops

Unlike some Legendary gear that comes from a single Alpha boss, this schematic shows up inside Treasure Boxes rather than as a guaranteed boss reward. The most reliable spot is the Oil Rig, but treasure hunting with maps can produce it too. None of these sources drop it every time, so patience matters.

At the Oil Rig, the schematic sits inside one of the standard treasure chests spread across the platform at the center of Palpagos’ eastern islands. Because the drop odds are low, plan on clearing the rig more than once before it appears.

Treasure Maps offer a second route. Read the map, travel to the spot it marks, and dig up the reward. As with the Oil Rig, the map can hand you something else entirely, so a single trip is rarely enough.

Crafting requirements and materials

With the schematic secured, you can craft the armor at several stations. Keep the schematic in your inventory or the recipe will not stay available. The build calls for Leather x30, Flame Organ x8, Ingot x20, and one Ancient Civilization Parts.

You can assemble it at any of these benches once the materials are ready.

  • Production Assembly Line II
  • Advanced Workshop
  • Ancient Workbench

The finished armor carries Heat Resistance Lv. 2, Fire Damage Reduction Lv. 1, and Attack Up (S) Lv. 4, so it also nudges your offense while keeping you cool in hot zones.

Legendary vs. standard stats

Every core stat on the Legendary version beats the standard Heat Resistant Pelt Armor, making it a straight upgrade. Durability jumps the most, so the Legendary piece lasts far longer between repairs.

How to confirm it worked

Once the schematic is in your bag, the Legendary Heat Resistant Pelt Armor appears as a craftable recipe at any of the listed benches. If it does not show up, check that the schematic is still in your inventory and that you have the full material list, since the recipe hides when the schematic is missing. After crafting, equip it and confirm the higher defense and durability values in the item details.

Note: The schematic’s low drop chance is the main hurdle here, not the crafting itself. Stock up on Leather, Flame Organ, and Ingot ahead of time so you can build the armor the moment the schematic finally drops.
