Iroi is the second S-Class character arriving in Neverness to Everness Version 1.2, and she takes over the featured banner once Shinku’s board closes. She is an Anima support built around team-wide healing, damage buffs, and the ability to temporarily save allies from a wipe, which makes her release timing worth pinning down if you plan to pull.
Quick answer: Iroi’s banner, The Lifeline, goes live on July 29, 2026 at 11:00 (UTC+8), right after the Version 1.2 Phase 2 maintenance ends. It runs until August 19, 2026 at 05:59 (UTC+8).
Release time: July 29, 2026 at 11:00 (UTC+8) / 03:00 UTC

Iroi release time by region
The banner switches over on a single global server, so the moment is the same everywhere. Because of the date line, players in the Americas will see it flip on the evening of July 28, while most of Europe and Asia get it on the morning of July 29.

Maintenance comes first
Phase 2 of Version 1.2 does not go live instantly. Hotta Studio takes the servers down for a short maintenance window before the update, so the game will be unavailable for a stretch on July 28 into July 29 depending on your region. The maintenance runs roughly five hours, ending right as Iroi’s board opens at 11:00 (UTC+8).
Shinku’s Before the Dawn banner ends the moment maintenance begins. Once the servers come back up, you will see the new banners on the pull screen instead. That’s the clearest confirmation the update is live.
What’s on Iroi’s banner
The Lifeline is Iroi’s limited character board, and it runs alongside a separate weapon banner for her signature Arc for the full length of Phase 2. Both close together on August 19.
| Banner | Featured rewards |
|---|---|
| Character (The Lifeline) | Iroi (S-Rank, Anima), Archmage Outfit, Sheepcopter glider, Three’s Company Livery for the B100 vehicle |
| Arc Research | The Wrong Gate (S-Rank), Iroi’s signature Arc |
NTE skips the standard 50/50 system. Banner progress directly guarantees the featured S-Class character, with a hard pity at 90 pulls and no off-banner losses. Limited character boards also share one pity count, so any progress you built on Shinku’s board carries straight over to Iroi’s rather than resetting.
Who Iroi is and why the timing matters
Iroi is an Anima character and a member of the Bureau of Anomaly Control’s CSU-2 division, the same unit as Shinku and Mint. She is the first dedicated limited S-Class healer in the game, built for HP-scaling healing, team damage buffs, and survival mechanics.
Her kit runs on a resource called Imagination. A low-Imagination Ultimate opens the Dream of the Horned Gate for continuous team healing, while a charged version opens the Dream of the Ivory Gate for area damage and reviving fallen allies. Her Regression skill can place up to three teammates into a protected dream state, and any ally defeated while she is on the team enters Regression instead of going down. That sustain makes her a strong fit for Shinku’s charge comps and for Blossom teams, so her July 29 window lines up directly with pairing her against the DPS carries already in the roster.
After Iroi’s banner ends on August 19, Version 1.3 is expected to follow the game’s usual six-week cycle, bringing new characters and the next story chapter. Until then, she is the headline pull of the Phase 2 window.
