Seeds are the core of every profitable run in Greedy Growers. They spawn on the river belt at different rates, cost wildly different amounts, and sell for values that scale with rarity. Knowing which seed is worth grabbing before you spend keeps you from wasting money on the wrong pickup.
Quick answer: There are 20 seeds spread across eight rarities as of Update 1.2. The Void Seed is the rarest and most expensive, with a 1 in 1,000 spawn chance and a price of $1.75 Qi. The Oak Seed is the only free one.

Add to Google Preferences →What each rarity tier gives you
The eight rarities run from Common to Divine. Prices and sale values climb sharply as spawn chances drop, so each tier fits a different stage of your run.
Common and Rare seeds (early game)
Common seeds, the Oak and Pine, are the cheapest and appear most often at 1 in 5. They bring in small profits, but they are how you build up your first bank of cash. The three Rare seeds, Apple, Peach, and Fig, are the first real upgrade. They stay affordable at $200 to $500 while returning noticeably more. Once a Rare tree grows fully, plant it in your farm for steady passive income from the fruit.
Epic and Legendary seeds (mid game)
Epic seeds, Orange, Lemon, and Avocado, cost between $10K and $20K and carry large profit multipliers, which makes timing your harvest well the difference between a decent payout and a huge one. Legendary seeds are the first to demand millions, running from $2.50M for Cherry up to $10M for Coconut with a much lower 1 in 120 spawn chance. Try to have at least double a Legendary seed’s price saved before it appears.
Mythic and Celestial seeds (late game)
Mythic seeds appear at 1 in 300 and become a major income source once you can afford the billions they cost, from $3B for Banana to $7B for Dragon Fruit. Celestial seeds are among the rarest at 1 in 400, and their price tags, $500B for Glowing and $750B for Blooming, mean you need strong cash flow before grabbing one. Buy them the moment they spawn if you have the money ready.
Secret and Divine seeds (rarest)
Secret seeds, Magic and Pizza, land at 1 in 660 and cost hundreds of trillions, so grab one as soon as it shows up. Divine seeds sit at the top of the list. The Diamond Seed and Void Seed both spawn at just 1 in 1,000, with the Void Seed reaching $1.75 Qi. The game pushes a server-wide notification whenever a Divine seed appears, so watch for that message and be ready to buy.
How to get rarer seeds faster
You can’t buy your way to a specific rarity, but you can plan around the timer board. It shows how long until the next Legendary and Mythic seeds spawn, and both are guaranteed to appear every five minutes. Keep enough cash on hand as the timer runs down so you can buy the moment the seed lands on the belt.

There is currently no Luck system, so you can’t raise your seed luck to force better rolls. That means rarity comes down to the belt’s spawn chances plus the guaranteed five-minute Legendary and Mythic drops.
Note: You lose every seed sitting in your inventory when you Rebirth. Plant any seeds you own before rebirthing so nothing goes to waste.
Mutated seeds and weather events
Mutated seeds come from weather events rather than the shop. While a mutation weather event is active, both the seeds spawning on the river belt and the seeds already planted in your plot have a chance to catch that mutation. A mutated seed grows into a mutated plant and produces mutated fruit, which sells for more than the base version.
