Raijin is a Super Boss in Haze Seas that does not appear on a timer. You have to trigger the fight yourself on Rainbow Sky Island, and the trigger depends on collecting a rare drop and filling the pillars around the arena.

If your pillars refuse to accept sparks, the arena is still on cooldown from a previous kill. You can either wait out the hour or hop to another server where the altar is active and ready.

The reason players farm this summon is the Raijin Core. It feeds several of the strongest upgrades in the game, and most of those upgrades need more than one core, which means repeating the four-spark summon multiple times.
