Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Unlock Ralph in the Continue? Quest

Follow the Glitchy Arcade Machine across the Valley, cook a My Hero Cookie, and welcome Wreck-It Ralph home.

Follow the Glitchy Arcade Machine across the Valley, cook a My Hero Cookie, and welcome Wreck-It Ralph home.

Ralph from Wreck-It Ralph joins Disney Dreamlight Valley through the Continue? quest, a chase that has you hunting a Glitchy Arcade Machine as it teleports between locations and drops strange cables around the Valley. The quest wraps in a cooking task and a payment, so it helps to have your ingredients and Star Coins ready before you start.

Quick answer: Start Continue? at the Glitchy Arcade Machine near the Dreamlight Castle in the Plaza, feed it in Scrooge’s store, break bricks for it in the Forgotten Lands treehouse, then cook a My Hero Cookie at Vanellope’s house, use the Arcade Token in the Fix-It Felix Jr. Machine, and place Ralph’s house for 10,000 Star Coins.

What you need before starting Continue?

The quest sends you across several zones, so make sure these are unlocked and stocked first. Missing any of them will stall you partway through.

  • The Forgotten unlocked as a character, since you speak to them repeatedly.
  • Vanellope living in the Valley, as her house is the final stop.
  • Access to the Forgotten Lands, which opens for 15,000 Dreamlight.
  • A stove for cooking, plus 10,000 Star Coins to place Ralph’s house.

Start Continue? at the Glitchy Arcade Machine

Head to the Plaza and look near the Dreamlight Castle entrance, on the bridge behind the well. The Glitchy Arcade Machine sits between the well and the castle. Interact with it and it will spit out two names, The Forgotten and Scrooge McDuck.
Go to The Forgotten first and ask what is happening. They will be confused and point you toward Scrooge McDuck’s store to look for the machine.

Clear Scrooge’s store and feed the machine

Enter Scrooge McDuck’s store and clear the glitchy cables on the left side. Doing so releases three Root Beers and three Pies that scatter across the bottom floor of the shop.
Collect all three Root Beers and all three Pies. They are spread around the ground floor, so sweep the room to grab them.
Listen to the machine and hand over the food when it asks. Once it is satisfied, it vanishes again, so return to The Forgotten to figure out where it went.

Track the machine to the Forgotten Lands treehouse

Travel to the Forgotten Lands and find the large treehouse surrounded by thorns. The Glitchy Arcade Machine is waiting inside on the left, this time asking for bricks.
Break the bricks with your pickaxe and offer them to the machine. It disappears once more and mentions Vanellope’s name, pointing you to her house next.

Free Ralph at Vanellope’s house

Go to Vanellope’s house, where the machine has already appeared with a new look. Speak to Vanellope, then clear away the cables blocking it and interact with the machine to give it a little bop.
A glitchy, T-posing Ralph appears. Take a photo of him as the quest instructs, then head to a stove to cook his favorite food, a My Hero Cookie.

Give the cooked cookie to Ralph. He explains that it does not fix him, which prompts a guilty confession from The Forgotten. They admit they banished Ralph long ago and hand you an Arcade Token to use.

Place Ralph’s house to finish the quest

Insert the Arcade Token into the Fix-It Felix Jr. Machine. This restores Ralph to his proper form instead of the glitchy version.

Place Ralph’s house somewhere in the Valley for 10,000 Star Coins. Once the house is down, Ralph officially moves in and Continue? is complete.

You will know it worked when Ralph appears as a resident villager rather than the glitching arcade figure, and the quest closes out. From there, the follow-up quest Bad-Anon: Valley Chapter becomes available, so keep an eye on your quest log if you want to continue his story.
