Dino Hunters: How to Get DNA Core and Power Up Dinosaurs in Roblox

What the crafting, upgrade-material, and evolution systems actually give you when you try to strengthen a captured dinosaur.

What the crafting, upgrade-material, and evolution systems actually give you when you try to strengthen a captured dinosaur.

Strengthening a dinosaur in Dino Hunters comes down to a small set of confirmed systems. You weaken a target, capture it with a capsule, then feed materials into crafting and evolution to raise its rank and unlock a named form. If you are hunting for a single “core” drop that instantly powers up a team, the game routes that outcome through upgrade materials, crafting ranks, and equipment instead.

Quick answer: There is no separately confirmed item called a DNA Core in the current Dino Hunters build. To make a dinosaur stronger, collect upgrade materials, run them through the crafting ranks (F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS), and follow the evolution path into named forms.

Crafting ranks from F to SSS

The main power curve runs through crafting. A captured dinosaur moves up a fixed ladder of ranks, and each step forward makes it more useful in battles and against bosses.

StageRank orderWhat it affects
EarlyF, E, D, CBaseline dinosaurs you craft while learning the loop
MidB, ATeam members strong enough for later worlds
HighS, SS, SSSEnd-game power used for tougher bosses

Note: If Craft All seems to skip a qualified SS dinosaur, unequip it first. An equipped unit can be left unchanged by the crafting action, which looks like a bug but is usually an equipment-state issue.

Upgrade materials and equipment drops

Crafting and leveling both run on materials rather than a single core pickup. Recent changes raised the EXP that upgrade materials give, so the same materials now push a dinosaur further than before. Equipment also enters the mix, with five equipment drops available to strengthen a team beyond the base rank.

Coins and Fossils are the currencies these systems compete for. Coins go toward capsules, food, and hatching, while Fossils feed weapon progression such as the Taser Gun and Poison Crossbow. Buying every visible upgrade at once drains the currency you need for the material or item that actually clears your current blocker, so spend around whatever is stopping your progress.

Evolution into named forms

Past the letter ranks, evolution turns a dinosaur into a specific named form. Confirmed chains include Emberling, Stripelet, Goldspike, Redcrest, and Stonehide. These are the endpoints that give a captured dinosaur a distinct identity and higher combat value, and they follow the crafting rank work rather than replacing it.

Capture quality feeds into this early on. Capsules carry Capture Luck values in a 25 to 700 range, so matching a stronger capsule to a harder target avoids wasting attempts on the exact dinosaur you want to evolve later.

How to farm materials fast

Weaken and capture dinosaurs across Jurassic Village, Jurassic Plains, and Jurassic Rift. Working through worlds in order keeps the captures and rewards matched to your team’s current power.
Claim every available mission after a capture run. Missions add currency and materials on top of what you pull from the field, which speeds up the crafting ladder.
Fight the verified bosses, Triceratops and Blazemane Rex, once your team can survive them. Bosses are the endgame test for a stronger team and a reason to keep upgrading materials rather than hoarding them.
Open the game and repeat the loop in a server with open slots.

Confirm a craft or upgrade worked

You know a material paid off when the dinosaur’s rank label moves up a tier or the unit changes into its named evolution form. A leveled dinosaur also shows higher stats after the upgrade-material EXP is applied. If a rank does not change after crafting, the most common cause is an equipped unit that Craft All skips, so unequip and try again before assuming the material was wasted.

One thing worth setting straight: codes do not hand out these materials. No active codes are live right now, and the redemption feature that does exist sits behind the Discord icon in the top-right of the screen. Treat that as a place to enter a verified string later, not a shortcut to a power-up. The dependable path to a stronger dinosaur stays the same, capture, gather materials, craft up the ranks, and evolve.
