Endacopia: How to Fight or Skip the Trapezist Boss

Cut The Act with the Scalpel or win Fatal Performance in the ball-kicking brawl — and why Ending C forces the fight.

The Trapezist looks like the most charming face in Endacopia’s Circus, and plenty of players fall for it the moment she appears. Behind the aerial-performer act, though, is one of the game’s optional first-person brawls, and you have to decide on the spot whether to throw hands or walk away clean. Both outcomes are locked to a single playthrough, so the choice matters more than it first looks.

Quick answer: To skip her, use the Scalpel to cut the rope on the left side the instant you reach her — that unlocks the Cut The Act achievement. To fight her, finish the circus act, walk up to her, and pick any dialogue option to start the battle for Fatal Performance. You can only earn one of the two per save, so make a manual save before the final approach if you want both.

Where the Trapezist boss fight happens

The encounter sits in Chapter II, inside the trapeze tent at the Circus. You can’t just stroll in, though. A crowd blocks the tent entrance, and you have to clear it out first. Make the clown drop the microphone, then use it to announce that the show is over so the audience clears off. Only then does the tent open up.

This is a full-game encounter, so it does not appear in the free demo. It also needs the Scalpel from the Circus Medical Tent operation mini-game if you plan to skip the battle, so grab that before you commit to the run to her.

How to reach the trapeze tent

Getting to the Trapezist is a short obstacle run rather than a puzzle. Once the crowd is gone, you work through a chain of circus stunts that ends with you dropped right beside her.

Cross the trapeze, then roll over the blue ball toward the hoop and jump through it.

Let the cannon launch you into the air. You’ll land next to the Trapezist, and this is the exact moment where the fight-or-skip decision opens up.

Fight or skip: what each choice unlocks

The two paths are mutually exclusive on a single save. Most players end up fighting on a first run, which is why the battle achievement is far more common than the skip.

One catch to plan around: if you’re chasing Ending C, you have to fight the Trapezist. The skip route is off the table for that ending, so decide whether Ending C is part of your run before you cut anything. If you want both Trapezist achievements, keep a save from right before you reach her, clear one path, then reload and take the other.

How to skip the Trapezist (Cut The Act)

Skipping is the faster resolution and needs no combat. The second you land beside her, use the Scalpel and cut the rope on the left side. That’s the whole interaction. The battle never starts, and the Cut The Act achievement pops right after.

If you don’t already have the Scalpel in your inventory, you can’t take this route. Back out, finish the Medical Tent operation mini-game to collect it, then return to the tent.

How to beat the Trapezist (Fatal Performance)

To start the fight, finish the circus act, walk toward her, and choose any dialogue line. She opens with an insult before the combat HUD appears. From there, it’s a short bout built entirely around balls.

Balls drop toward you from three positions on screen, left, center, or right. Watch which lane each one is falling in, then kick it back exactly when it lines up in front of you. The Trapezist keeps knocking them back into the air, so it becomes a rhythm of reading the lane and timing the return.

The encounter uses the same block-and-counter foundation as the Clocky fight from the Prologue, so keep an eye on your stamina bar. An empty bar stops you from acting, so don’t spam inputs when a ball is still far away. Let each one come into range, react to the lane it’s in, and you’ll clear the whole thing in under two minutes. Fatal Performance unlocks once she’s down.

Note: losing the battle only restarts the fight itself. Your Scalpel, the completed circus act, and the rest of your progress stay intact, so you don’t have to redo the approach.

What happens after the Trapezist

The outcome converges no matter which path you took. Whether you fight her or cut the rope, a chain with a light bulb appears afterward. Grab the chain to return to the Toilet.

The Toilet then asks you to find a hand saw, which sets up the next stretch of the chapter and the eventual saw choice that decides Endacopia’s endings. If you’re heading toward Ending A, that thread leads you into the final fight against Henry.
