100 Days At Sea is built around leaving your raft to visit islands, pulling better resources from each one, and pushing deeper into more dangerous waters. The map runs eight major biomes in a rough difficulty curve, and most of them guard a boss that drops the materials you need to survive the next stop.
Quick answer: There are eight major islands — Starter, Jungle, Desert, Shipwreck, Volcano, Ice, Kraken Zone, and Bermuda — plus limited-time event islands such as Alien Island. Visit them in that order, since each one supplies the gear needed to clear the next.

Every island, its boss, and its resources
The table below lists each major island in the intended progression order, its difficulty rating, the boss that lives there, and the main resources it produces.
| Island | Difficulty | Boss | Key resources |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter Island | Safe | None | Wood, Stone, Coconuts |
| Jungle Island | Easy | None | Tropical Fruit, Vines, Wood |
| Desert Island | Medium | Sand Worm | Scrap Metal, Cactus Water, Sand |
| Shipwreck Island | Medium | Ghost Captain | Iron, Gunpowder, Ship Parts |
| Volcano Island | Hard | Lava Guardian | Obsidian, Magma Ore, Fire Crystals |
| Ice Island | Hard | Frost Giant | Ice Crystals, Frozen Fish, Frost Wood |
| Kraken Zone | Very Hard | Kraken | Kraken Ink, Deep Sea Pearls |

Add to Google Preferences →Early islands: Starter and Jungle
Starter Island is your spawn zone and the safest place on the map. It has no boss, and it exists to teach movement and inventory while you collect Wood, Stone, and Coconuts for your first raft. Gather the basics here before you sail anywhere.
Jungle Island is the natural second stop. It stays boss-free and produces Tropical Fruit, Vines, and Wood, which makes it a reliable early source of food and crafting material. Neither of these two islands punishes a light loadout, so use them to stabilize supplies before the difficulty climbs.

Mid-game islands: Desert and Shipwreck
Desert Island is the first island with a boss, the Sand Worm. Its arena punishes melee-only loadouts, so bring a ranged weapon such as a Flintlock Pistol before landing. The island yields Scrap Metal, Cactus Water, and Sand.
Shipwreck Island is the best mid-game source of Iron, and it also supplies Gunpowder and Ship Parts. Its boss is the Ghost Captain. Farm Iron here because you need it to craft the Iron Sword and Iron Armor that carry you through the harder biomes.
Hard islands: Volcano and Ice
Volcano Island guards the Lava Guardian and drops Obsidian, Magma Ore, and Fire Crystals. Do not land without fire resistance and Iron Armor, because the Lava Guardian’s fire damage wipes undergeared groups quickly.
Ice Island was added in the Ice Region update and holds the Frost Giant. Cold here drains your health over time, so carry warm food to offset it. Its resources are Ice Crystals, Frozen Fish, and Frost Wood.

Endgame islands: Kraken Zone and Bermuda
Kraken Zone is a very hard area built for a full crew. The Kraken boss demands S-tier weapons and coordinated damage, and the zone produces Kraken Ink and Deep Sea Pearls. Upgrade to your best ranged weapons and stock repair kits before entering.
Bermuda Island is the final storyline location and should be saved for last. It hosts the Bermuda Entity and drops Ancient Relics and Mystery Crates. Treat it as the endgame test that closes out the run toward Day 100.
Event islands and mini islands
Beyond the eight core biomes, the game rotates in event islands during limited content patches. Alien Island appeared during the Alien Invasion event and offered its own loot and encounters alongside the Transponder mechanic. Event islands come and go with patches, so their availability depends on whether the matching event is live.
Note: The core biome set stays consistent, but bosses, cold and fire mechanics, and event content can shift between updates. Check what is active in your current session before planning a long voyage.

How to prepare before each island
The islands form a dependency chain. Each one supplies the material for the gear you need at the next difficulty tier, so skipping ahead usually ends a run early.
- Craft a Wooden Raft, Bonfire, and Fishing Rod from Starter and Jungle materials before you leave the safe zone.
- Bring a ranged weapon to Desert Island for the Sand Worm.
- Farm Iron on Shipwreck Island, then make Iron Sword and Iron Armor before Volcano Island.
- Carry warm food to Ice Island to counter the cold health drain.
- Enter Kraken Zone with a full crew and upgraded weapons, and save Bermuda Island for the end.
Work through the biomes in order, and the map stays manageable. You can confirm the current island roster and boss list in the experience itself, developed by Stranded Devs on Roblox.
