Warden Character Tier List: All 11 Creatures Ranked (July 2026)

Where every playable creature lands right now, with stats, abilities, and the reasoning behind each placement.

Where every playable creature lands right now, with stats, abilities, and the reasoning behind each placement.

Warden hands you a majestic creature, drops you into the Doors of Creation with a team, and asks you to clear objectives while corrupted enemies close in. Eleven creatures are playable, each locked to a single active ability and one of four roles, and each one takes real time and Shooms to unlock. Knowing which ones repay that grind matters, so here is where every creature sits for deep, high-pressure runs.

Quick answer: Drakula, Caspian, Dawn, and Filbert are the strongest picks (S-tier). If you are unlocking one creature first for objective work, choose Drakula; for holding enemy aggro, choose Caspian.

This ranking reflects the July 2026 build. Ratings weigh overall value across long Trials, including Infection clearing, aggro control, survivability, team utility, and how well a creature holds up solo against mixed Corrupted groups. Every Survivor currently has one active ability and no separate passive.

Every Warden creature ranked with stats and abilities

Stats run from 1 to 5 stars across Health, Speed, Stamina, Stealth, Skill Checks, and Damage. Cooldowns and ability effects are listed alongside each creature so you can see exactly what it brings to a Trial.

CreatureAssessment
Drakula — S, Hunter
HP 3 · SPD 2 · STA 2 · STE 4 · SKL 5 · DMG 4
Blood Sap (60s): slows Corrupteds within 100 studs by 50% and grants a random buff for 20s each time it slows one.
DrakulaThe cleanest objective creature in the roster. Five Skill, four Damage, and four Stealth make Infection work fast and safe, and Blood Sap buys a wide safety window without pulling him off the task. Low Speed and Stamina punish greedy positioning, so plan your exit before you start.
Caspian — S, Lure
HP 3 · SPD 5 · STA 5 · STE 1 · SKL 2 · DMG 1
Water Slide (45s): leaves puddles that slow Corrupteds by 50% while giving players a 50% Speed boost.
CaspianBuilt to hold aggro on purpose. Maxed Speed and Stamina with one Stealth means enemies fixate on him while he kites, and Water Slide controls a chase and opens a fast lane for teammates. His single Damage star means near-zero Infection help, a fair price for the best pure lure.
Dawn — S, Shield
HP 4 · SPD 2 · STA 4 · STE 5 · SKL 2 · DMG 2
Mother’s Touch (90s): gives one player a temporary Shield Heart for the Trial and boosts nearby Speed for 10s.
DawnA Shield Heart that lasts the whole Trial is premium insurance against mistakes on deep runs. Five Stealth lets her guard teammates without stealing aggro from the intended lure. Weak objective stats and a long cooldown make her a team creature rather than a solo pick.
Filbert — S, Shield
HP 5 · SPD 1 · STA 5 · STE 3 · SKL 1 · DMG 4
Grumpy Old Man (40s): shockwave stuns Corrupteds within 75 studs for 10s and restores 25 Stamina per stun.
FilbertEven after the stun nerf, a 10-second area stun on a 40-second cooldown is one of the best panic buttons in the game. Five Health, five Stamina, and four Damage make him far more useful than a plain tank. One Speed and one Skill are brutal, so route knowledge is everything on Filbert.
Leon — A, Shield
HP 4 · SPD 2 · STA 3 · STE 4 · SKL 4 · DMG 3
Gold Shield (90s): a protective zone for 12s that raises Stamina Regen for anyone inside.
LeonThe most balanced Shield, with four in Health, Stealth, and Skill plus enough Damage to help on Infections. Gold Shield shines around objectives, revives, and moments with no clean rotation. A 90-second cooldown and two Speed keep him just below the top four.
Nova — A, Support
HP 3 · SPD 3 · STA 3 · STE 2 · SKL 4 · DMG 3
Echolocation (60s): restores 25% Stamina and reveals nearby Corrupteds and Infections for 8s.
NovaRevealing both threats and objectives cuts a huge amount of wasted movement on messy or unfamiliar Trials. Four Skill and three Damage let her act on that intel immediately. Two Stealth can draw attention when the team’s lure is not controlling the room.
Jerry — A, Hunter
HP 3 · SPD 3 · STA 2 · STE 4 · SKL 4 · DMG 4
Eye Warp (45s): places an eye portal Jerry can teleport back to.
JerryFour Skill, Damage, and Stealth give him one of the strongest raw Hunter profiles available. A well-placed portal turns risky scouting and greedy pushes into recoverable plays. Only two Stamina and the need to set the escape point first raise his skill floor, and a bad portal is basically no ability.
Yoggy — A, Lure
HP 3 · SPD 4 · STA 5 · STE 1 · SKL 3 · DMG 1
Ice Yelp (45s): alerts Corrupteds within 125 studs, then drops an icy pile that freezes nearby ones.
YoggyFour Speed, five Stamina, and forced aggro make him a dependable dedicated lure. The freeze can steady an overcrowded objective room or buy time to rotate. He offers almost no Infection damage, and an overambitious Yelp can drag in more than the group can handle.
Mylo — A, Hunter
HP 3 · SPD 3 · STA 3 · STE 3 · SKL 3 · DMG 3
Morale Boost (75s): grants players within 75 studs 25% more Damage, 25% faster Stamina Regen, and a Stealth boost for 20s.
MyloMorale Boost is a real team steroid that speeds Infection clears while making the whole group safer and harder to exhaust. A flat 3/5 line lets him fill almost any missing job in a public lobby. No elite stat and a 75-second cooldown leave long stretches where he is solid rather than special.
Vaelis — B, Support
HP 3 · SPD 4 · STA 4 · STE 2 · SKL 3 · DMG 2
Sniff (60s): highlights 50% of the Corrupteds for all players and slows them by 50% for 10s.
VaelisFour Speed and Stamina make him easier to reposition than most Supports. The 50% slow is useful, but revealing only half the Corrupteds makes Sniff inconsistent when the wrong threat stays hidden. Two Damage and two Stealth leave him thin once the ability is down.
Azalea — B, Lure
HP 3 · SPD 5 · STA 4 · STE 1 · SKL 2 · DMG 2
Spinning Top (35s): a forward air dash with a 25% chance to leave a consumable trinket.
AzaleaFive Speed, four Stamina, and a short-cooldown dash make her fun and hard to pin down. Free consumables can snowball a run, but a 25% chance is too unreliable to plan around. Without Caspian’s slow or Yoggy’s hard freeze, she is the weakest primary lure despite great mobility.

Why the S-tier creatures lead

The top four each dominate one job so completely that a team feels the gap when they are missing. Drakula finishes objectives faster and safer than anyone, thanks to a Skill and Damage spread no other creature matches. Caspian is the ideal magnet, pulling enemies away while handing teammates a speed lane. Dawn’s Trial-long Shield Heart erases the cost of a single mistake on a deep run, and Filbert’s frequent area stun stabilizes rooms that would otherwise collapse.

Note: three of these lean on teammates to shine. Dawn and Filbert have poor Skill Checks, and Caspian barely dents Infections, so they perform best in a coordinated group rather than solo.

A-tier and B-tier trade-offs

The A-tier creatures are strong, reliable picks held back by one clear snag. Leon is the safest all-round Shield but has a long cooldown. Jerry has an elite Hunter stat line but a high skill floor tied to placing his portal well. Mylo is the ultimate flex pick with no weak stat and no standout one, making him ideal for filling gaps in a random lobby. Nova and Yoggy each solve a specific problem, information and crowd control, without covering their own soft spots.

B-tier is not weak, just outclassed at each creature’s own job. Vaelis is a mobile Support whose reveal only catches half the threats, and Azalea is a fast, evasive lure that lacks the hard control Caspian and Yoggy provide. Both are usable, but a stronger option exists for whatever they are trying to do.

Roles and how to read them

Every creature belongs to one of four roles, and a balanced team usually wants coverage across them.

RoleJob in a Trial
HunterCombat-focused, deals extra damage and clears Infections and corruptions faster.
SupportBuffs allies and debuffs enemies, often marking or revealing threats for the team.
LurePulls and controls Corrupteds, corralling or trapping them to open the map for others.
ShieldRaises the defense and survivability of teammates so the group lasts longer.

Unlocking creatures

Most creatures are locked at the start. You unlock them by completing set requirements and then purchasing them with Shooms. Open the Characters menu from the lobby and click any creature you do not own to see its exact requirement on the right. Because launch-era unlock steps can change, treat the in-game character screen as the authority and confirm that the activity you are repeating is actually moving the visible progress bar.

Rankings shift as the game is patched and new creatures like King, Seraphique, Comet and Flare, or Plato eventually arrive. For now, if you can only commit to unlocking a couple, Drakula and Caspian give you an objective specialist and a dedicated lure that cover the two jobs a squad needs most.
