FC 26 Floor Raiser Evolution: Best Players and Full Upgrade Path

The exact requirements, all three upgrade levels, and the top cards to run through this free chain-friendly Evolution.

The exact requirements, all three upgrade levels, and the top cards to run through this free chain-friendly Evolution.

The Floor Raiser Evolution in FC 26 is a free upgrade that boosts almost every attacking stat and adds a shooting PlayStyle+ without raising a card’s overall rating. That last detail is what makes it valuable. Because the overall stays put, you can feed the same card straight into another Evolution that accepts 95-rated players, building long upgrade chains.

Quick answer: Apply Floor Raiser to a max 95-rated outfield attacker you plan to chain further, such as Mbappe Captains, Ronaldinho Trophy Titans, or Messi Time Warp, then play three matches to unlock all three levels for free.

Floor Raiser Evolution requirements

Only cards that meet every requirement below can enter the Evolution. Goalkeepers are locked out, and the high overall cap means most meta attackers still qualify.

RequirementLimit
OverallMax 95
PlayStyleMax 10
PlayStyle+Max 4
PositionAny except GK

Every upgrade across the three levels

The full path stacks pace, finishing, dribbling, and composure gains, then finishes with two extra PlayStyles. Notice the overall never moves, which is the point of the whole chain strategy.

LevelUpgrades
Level 1Pace +2 (95), Finishing +3 (96), Positioning +3 (96), Shot Power +3 (96), Low Driven Shot+ (4), Quick Step (7)
Level 2Agility +2 (95), Ball Control +2 (96), Reactions +3 (95), Short Passing +20, Skills +4
Level 3Dribbling +2 (96), Jumping +20, Stamina +3 (96), Composure +3 (96), Finesse Shot and Technical (7)

How to complete each level

Each level shares the same simple objective, so the whole Evolution takes three matches total.

Apply Floor Raiser to your chosen card, then play one match in Squad Battles on at least Semi-Pro difficulty using the active EVO player. Rush, Rivals, Champions, or Live Events also count. This unlocks Level 1.
Play one more qualifying match with the same player to trigger Level 2, which adds the +20 Short Passing boost and four extra skill moves.
Play a third qualifying match to finish Level 3, locking in the dribbling, stamina, and composure gains along with Finesse Shot and Technical.

You know it worked when the card’s stat screen shows the boosted values and the new PlayStyles appear on the item. If a level does not progress, the most common cause is playing below Semi-Pro difficulty or fielding a different card instead of the active EVO player.

Best players to run through Floor Raiser

Because the boosts target attacking output, the strongest picks are forwards and wide players already sitting at or near 95 overall. A few require a preceding Evolution to bring their rating under the cap first.

Why the no-overall boost matters for chains

Since Floor Raiser leaves the overall at its starting value, an evolved card can immediately enter a second Evolution that still accepts 95-rated players. That lets you keep layering upgrades on the same item instead of hitting the usual overall wall. For attackers, the combination of extra pace, finishing, a shooting PlayStyle+, and improved dribbling makes it one of the more flexible free options to fold into a wider upgrade plan.
