Cookie Run: Crumble Tier List – Best Cookies Ranked (July 2026)

Cookie Run: Crumble is an idle horde-survivor RPG where a team of up to twelve Cookies auto-fights swarming enemies while you manage classes, synergies, and pet pairings. With dozens of Cookies spread across rarities from Common up to the rare TSSR grade, knowing which ones deserve your gems and upgrade materials matters far more than chasing every shiny pull. The ranking below sorts the current roster by raw kit power, synergy value, and how well each Cookie covers horde clearing, boss damage, and team support.

Quick answer: Push your gacha level to 6 and prioritize the two TSSR Cookies, Oven Wanderer and Wind Archer. Then build around top SSR carries like Espresso, Cream Soda, and Milky Way, plus the support multipliers Pomegranate, Toothpaste, Dark Choco, and Ion Cookie Robot.

This ranking reflects the July 2026 launch-week roster. Tiers weigh each Cookie’s skill output, the Synergies it grants or needs, and how broadly it performs across survivor maps, the Crumble Dungeon boss, and Arena PvP. Stat sheets barely differ within a class, so placement comes down almost entirely to skills and team fit.

How this was ranked: placements combine each Cookie’s printed skill values, the number of enemies a skill realistically hits in a horde, and how much its Synergy buffs multiply the rest of your team. Support and buff Cookies that scale every carry you field are treated as high value even when they deal little damage themselves.

Why the S-tier Cookies stand above the rest

The two TSSR Cookies, Oven Wanderer and Wind Archer, sit at the top because their stats run roughly 15% higher than any SSR and their kits cover multiple roles at once. Oven Wanderer is the most durable carry in the game, pairing a piercing charge with a flame trail and a wide explosion, which makes it a reliable frontline sub-DPS. Wind Archer clears crowds with a printed five-enemy pierce every 2.5 seconds and layers on a heavy Last Wind hit every twelve shots, making it one of the strongest single damage sources overall.

Among SSR carries, Espresso leads horde clearing outright. It drags enemies into a pile, then detonates a black hole for over 200% of ATK plus a ticking whirlwind, which is the ceiling for this genre. Cream Soda fires eight projectiles on the shortest cooldown in the top tier and hands the whole team a Range Synergy boost, while Milky Way’s dream train posts the highest per-tick value in the roster across a wide area.

Pomegranate, Toothpaste, and Ion Cookie Robot round out S-tier as force multipliers. Pomegranate deals no damage yet keeps a roughly 90% uptime ATK buff on all allies. Toothpaste blends carry-level damage, a strong heal, and a team Range buff into the most complete single kit available. Ion Cookie Robot shields the party, then transforms after 30 seconds to grant 35% team-wide damage reduction.

Horde clearing vs. boss damage

Because Crumble is a survivor game, the number of enemies a skill hits usually matters more than its raw percentage. That splits the rankings depending on what you are fighting. A Cookie that shreds crowds can fall apart against a single boss, and vice versa.

RoleBest picks
Horde clearingEspresso, Cream Soda, Wind Archer, Milky Way
Boss / single targetVampire, Melon Soda, Wind Archer, Toothpaste
Support / buffsPomegranate, Toothpaste, Milk Cookie’s Crunchy Strong Pediatrician, Skating Queen
Tank / frontlineIon Cookie Robot, Nameless Cake Hound, Dark Choco, Madeleine

Vampire Cookie is the clearest example of role swing. Against a single boss it lands a 333.8% strike plus Chain-scaled follow-ups, making it the best one-on-one damage dealer in the game, yet it drops well down the horde list. Twizzly Gummy moves the opposite way, chaining its beam four times against a crowd but losing almost all value when there are no extra bodies to jump between.

Synergies decide your final team

Every kit lists terms multiplied by a Synergy, and some Cookies grant those Synergies to the whole team. A provider is only as good as the recipients you pair it with, so team building often outweighs a single high-tier unit. Range is the easiest Synergy to build around, while Chain and Pierce are scarce and worth planning for.

  • Wind Archer wants Strawberry Shortcake on the team, since it is the only Pierce provider and pushes Wind Archer’s clear into top territory.
  • Dark Choco stacks a DEF-down debuff up to ten times, multiplying your entire team’s damage even though its own output is small.
  • Skating Queen adds CRIT DMG and Chain Synergy, feeding the Cookies that scale hardest off Chain.
  • Pomegranate, Milk Cookie’s Crunchy Strong Pediatrician, Dark Choco, and Skating Queen fit almost any composition because they buff whatever you bring.

Note: Scorpion Cookie is hard to rank cleanly. Its Venom Sting stacks poison up to twenty times, and at full stacks it posts the highest sustained damage in the roster, but its value drops sharply if it never reaches the cap during a fight.

Early-game Cookies and when to drop them

The lower tiers are not useless, they are just meant to carry you through the opening hours. Rare (R) Cookies like Dark Cherry, Cocoa, and Grapevine handle early stages fine, and Cocoa in particular holds up thanks to the damage reduction it gets while spinning. SR Cookies are your first real upgrade, with Lemon working as a strong early main DPS and Herb offering some of the best healing at that stage.

Common and Uncommon Cookies belong in D-tier and should be swapped out the moment you unlock anything better. Still, keep leveling them where you can, since maxing Cookies unlocks Collection bonuses that hand out free premium currency. Once you have a working SSR core, reset or bench the fillers and pour resources into your best units.

How to get more Cookies

Play through the story until you hit stage 1-5, which unlocks the gacha menu. From there you can pull one, ten, or thirty times at once using cookie cutters or gems.
Spend duplicate pulls on upgrades. Copies of Cookies you already own feed into leveling your existing units rather than going to waste.
Level up the gacha itself to reach the higher banners. Gacha level 6 is where you unlock chances at the TSSR Cookies, so prioritize getting there if you want Oven Wanderer or Wind Archer. Specific banners for units like Milky Way also narrow your odds toward a target Cookie.

Cookie Run: Crumble is available on Android, iOS, and PC through Google Play Games. Rankings shift as new Cookies, pets, and balance patches arrive, so revisit your team after each major content update and rebuild around whatever new Synergy providers land in your roster.
