The Alien Invasion event turns Mini War into a war zone from space. A Mothership hangs over the map, an Alien Boss drops into the center, and your farms can suddenly start producing mutated crops. It runs as a limited-time world event and brings its own currency, Alien Cores, which you spend in a dedicated Alien Shop on decorations and combat buildings you can’t get any other way.
Quick answer: Earn Alien Cores three ways during the event — run mutated crops through the Alien Extractor, capture Alien Base Outposts, and hold the Alien King of the Hill base as long as possible. Holding the KOTH base is the biggest single payout, worth 100 to 1,000 Alien Cores.
What triggers the Alien Invasion in Mini War
The event arrives as Alien Weather, a server-wide effect that reworks the whole map while it is active. When it starts, the sky goes dark, searchlights sweep overhead, and a giant Mothership appears and fires lasers across the battlefield. A massive Alien Boss then lands in the middle of the map.
Alongside the weather, several event-only structures spawn across the map. These are the pieces you interact with to farm the event currency.
- Alien Base Outposts you can capture
- An Alien King of the Hill (KOTH) base
- The Alien Shop, placed near the Sell NPC
- The Alien Extractor for converting mutated crops
You don’t have to wait for the boss to land on its own. Buy the Alien Hive building from the Alien Shop, place it on your plot, then pay 100 Gems to skip the spawn cooldown and summon the Alien Boss instantly. The boss spawns with 114,843 HP, deals 375 to 600 damage, and moves at 6.9 speed per second.

While the event is live, your factories can be infected by Alien energy. Every 60 seconds, one of your farms has a 50% chance to become an Alien Farm. That Alien Farm stays active for 3 to 8 minutes, and every crop it harvests during that window carries the Alien Mutation.
Mutated crops give you a choice. You can sell them straight away for 20% more money than a normal crop, or you can feed them into the Alien Extractor to turn them into Alien Cores. If your goal is buying out the Alien Shop, send everything through the Extractor instead of selling.
Want more mutated crops? Placing an Alien Statue near your farms adds a 50% boost to the chance those farms mutate into Alien Farms, which directly increases your Core income over time.
Best ways to farm Alien Cores
Two event locations spawn on the map while Alien Weather is running, and both reward Alien Cores when you take them. Keep an eye on the map the moment the event begins, because these only exist during the invasion.
- Alien Base Outpost — capture it to collect Alien Cores.
- Alien King of the Hill base — hold it to earn the largest Core rewards.

Hold the Alien King of the Hill base
The Alien KOTH base has a 25% chance to spawn every 15 minutes, and it appears at a random spot on the map. When it shows up, push all your troops toward it, capture it, and then defend it. The longer you keep control, the bigger the Alien Core reward.

Because the spawn is random and only rolls every 15 minutes, check the map often if you are actively farming. A single strong hold on the KOTH base can pay out anywhere from 100 to 1,000 Alien Cores, which makes it the fastest route toward the expensive Shop items.

Alien Shop items and Alien Core prices
The Alien Shop sits next to the Sell NPC and only appears during the invasion. Its stock refreshes every 30 minutes, so if something you want is missing, wait for the next restock. Prices run from cheap decorative pieces up to the 1,999-Core Alien Hive.
| Item | Price (Alien Cores) | Effect |
|---|---|---|
![]() Alien Tree | 8 | Decorative alien tree. |
![]() Alien Warped Tree | 9 | Decorative warped tree. |
![]() Alien Twisted Tree | 10 | Decorative twisted tree. |
![]() Alien Crash Site | 12 | UFO crash site decoration. |
![]() Alien Radar | 19 | Radar decoration. |
![]() Rocket Launch | 19 | Rocket launch decoration. |
![]() Alien Garrison | 19 | Spawns alien soldiers. |
![]() Alien Statue | 39 | Adds 50% mutation chance to nearby farms. |
![]() Alien Hangar | 59 | Spawns futuristic alien UFOs. |
![]() Alien Starport | 159 | Deploys high-tier alien UFO aircraft. |
![]() UFO Research Lab | 199 | Every 60 seconds, nearby buildings can receive positive event mutations. |
![]() Planet Destroyer | 999 | Fires an orbital beam from space. |
![]() Alien Hive | 1,999 | Spawns a colossal alien mega monster and lets you summon the Alien Boss. |
Tip: If you are chasing Cores rather than looks, the Alien Statue pays for itself. At 39 Cores it raises how often your farms mutate, which feeds more crops into the Extractor and speeds up every purchase after it.
A practical farming loop
Stick to that rotation and you’ll clear the Alien Shop’s cheaper decorations quickly, then bank toward the UFO Research Lab, Planet Destroyer, and Alien Hive before the invasion ends. Keep checking the Shop every half hour for restocks, and keep checking the map every 15 minutes for a fresh KOTH spawn.
