Grow a Garden 2 Fall Harvest Update: Full Patch Notes

A separate Fall Harvest world arrives with new pets, exclusive seeds, Magic Mail transfers, werewolf nights, and a long list of fixes.

A separate Fall Harvest world arrives with new pets, exclusive seeds, Magic Mail transfers, werewolf nights, and a long list of fixes.

The Fall Harvest update is the largest expansion Grow a Garden 2 has shipped so far, and it does far more than drop a handful of seeds into the existing map. It opens an entirely separate world with its own garden, inventory, seed shop, pets, and quests, plus new night-time mechanics built around a werewolf and a rare Harvest Moon. Everything below reflects the official changes that went live on August 2, 2026.

Quick answer: Talk to Explorer Ethan in Garden Valley to open the world selection menu and travel to the Fall Harvest World. That world keeps a separate garden and inventory, and you use Magic Mail (Rare, Legendary, or Super) to send items back to Garden Valley.

How to reach the Fall Harvest World

Access runs entirely through Explorer Ethan, an NPC in Garden Valley. Speaking to him opens a menu that lets you travel to the Fall Harvest World and back again.

The new world is completely separate from Garden Valley. While you are inside it, you have a different garden and a different inventory, so nothing you own in Garden Valley shows up automatically. You know the trip worked when the world loads in and your familiar Garden Valley stock is no longer in your bag.

Because the two worlds are isolated, Fruit Price Stock is now tracked separately for each one. Prices in the Fall Harvest World do not mirror Garden Valley.

Magic Mail: moving items between worlds

Since the Fall Harvest World uses its own inventory, Magic Mail is the tool that lets you carry items back to Garden Valley. It comes in three tiers, and higher tiers handle more valuable transfers.

Magic Mail variantPurpose
RareTransfers items from the Fall Harvest World to Garden Valley
LegendaryTransfers items from the Fall Harvest World to Garden Valley
SuperTransfers items from the Fall Harvest World to Garden Valley

Night, the werewolf, and the Harvest Moon

When the sun sets in the Fall Harvest World, one random player on each server transforms into a werewolf for that night cycle. The werewolf moves faster than everyone else and is the only player who can steal during the night.

You can end someone’s werewolf turn by hitting them with your shovel. Doing so returns them to human form and puts you in the werewolf role instead, so the ability changes hands throughout the night.

There is also a rare chance for a Harvest Moon to appear at night within the Fall Harvest World, tied to its own night-time effects.

New pets in the Fall Harvest World

Eight new pets arrive with the update, ranging from ordinary farm animals to the Shadow Dragon.

  • Dog
  • Turkey
  • Squirrel
  • Hedgehog
  • Swan
  • Fox
  • Wolf
  • Shadow Dragon

New seeds and the Harvest Seed Pack

The Fall Harvest World runs its own seed shop stocked with exclusive crops you cannot buy in Garden Valley. Alongside the standalone seeds, a new Harvest Seed Pack bundles a fresh set of autumn crops.

Quests and the Pilgrim

Inside the Fall Harvest World, you can speak to the Pilgrim to pick up daily quests. Finishing them rewards the Cornucopia, which is the path to some of the strongest rewards in the game.

New gear and prop crates

Three new gear items lean toward multiplayer chaos rather than farming, and five new prop crates add fall-themed decoration options.
