PC deal on Steam and GOG ($41.99)

On PC the game drops to $41.99, its lowest recorded price on Steam. Earlier discounts topped out at 25 percent, so the 30 percent cut is a first for the game. You can pick it up through the Baldur’s Gate 3 Steam deal.

GOG offers the identical $41.99 price for a completely DRM-free copy, also at its historical low. Both versions include the full base game with no gameplay difference between them.

PS5 deal on the PlayStation Store ($48.99)

PlayStation 5 players get the same 30 percent cut, bringing the standard edition to $48.99 through the Baldur’s Gate 3 PS5 discount. That is the lowest the console version has reached.

The Digital Deluxe Edition is also 30 percent off at $55.99, adding a digital artbook, soundtrack, and the Adventurer’s Pouch with in-game items on top of the base game.

How long the discount lasts

The PC offer on Steam and GOG runs until August 6, 2026. The PlayStation Store version runs longer, staying discounted until August 13, 2026. After those dates the price returns to full retail.

Note: The percentage is fixed at 30, so there is no deeper markdown to wait for during this window. Given the game has never fallen below 25 percent before now, this is the cheapest it has been on any platform.

What you get for the price

Baldur’s Gate 3 is a party-based RPG set in the Forgotten Realms, playable solo or in co-op for up to four players online, with split-screen for two on PS5. The main story runs past 70 hours, side content pushes it well over 100, and full completion lands around 181 hours.

Three years after launch it still draws tens of thousands of concurrent players and holds a 96 percent positive rating on Steam across hundreds of thousands of reviews. With that much content and replay value, the anniversary cut makes it the easiest entry point the game has offered so far.
