How Many Dudes? ships with 69 achievements from Butterscotch Shenanigans, and none of them are missable. Some trigger the moment you clear a boss or loan a relic, while others demand exact team lineups, deep stat scaling, or long grinds spread across many runs. Every requirement and how to satisfy it is broken down below.
Quick answer: Each achievement pops instantly the moment its condition is met, so build runs around specific goals rather than hoping for them. The hardest ones are the six single-family wins, the four fixed five-Dude team wins, and the large lifetime totals such as defeating 50,000 Toddlers or lifestealing 10,000,000 HP. The game is available on the Steam store listing, Android, and iOS.
Boss and run-progression achievements
These come from clearing bosses, hitting late rounds, or winning under restrictions. Boss Blaster and Silver Star Dude arrive early during normal play, while the Tier 3 win and the sub-15-second G.O.A.T. kill are endgame targets.

Each of these asks a single Dude or Dude Type to reach a specific number during a battle. Stack the matching relics and buffs on one carry, then extend the fight so the value climbs high enough to register.

Relic, trinket, and shop-Dude achievements

| Out of Stock | Restock the Merchant Dude’s shop 100 times. |
Note: Probably Needed Those is a hidden achievement, and it only fires if you actually lose the run while both loans are still active. Winning cancels it.
Single-family run wins
Six achievements ask you to win an entire run using Dudes from only one family. Commit to the family from your first recruit and never add an outsider, since a single off-family Dude breaks the condition.
| Achievement | Family required |
|---|---|
| Merely a Setback | Undead Family only. |
| Warp Speed | Sci-Fi Family only. |
| Workin’ 9 to 5 | Employed Family only. |
| Fellowship of the Dudes | Fantasy Family only. |
| Plot Armor | Action Family only. |
| Warmonger | Warrior Family only. |
Fixed team composition wins
Four achievements require winning a run with one exact five-Dude lineup. Build the whole run around the named Dudes and pick upgrades that benefit all five.
| Achievement | Team |
|---|---|
| Big Pumpers | Ninja, Wizard, Ranger, Electrician, Trooper. |
| On The Move | Cowboy, Alien, Samurai, Explorer, Wizard. |
| Retaliation | Paladin, Psionic, Agent, Spartan, Druid. |
| Support Squad | Alien, General, Lich, Time, Manager. |
Collection and lifetime grind totals
The remaining achievements track discovery and large running totals. Several counters carry across multiple runs, so you do not need to hit them in one sitting. The Gold Star goals are best cleared by focusing hard on one Dude or family instead of spreading upgrades thin.
| Achievement | How to complete |
|---|---|
| I’ve Seen Things | Discover 20 Collectibles. |
| I’ve Seen Too Much | Discover every Collectible. |
| I’m Every Dude | Discover every Dude Type. |
| Trinket Tinkerer | Discover every Trinket. |
| Dude Dabbler | Earn a Gold Star for at least one Dude Type from each Dude Family. |
| Dude Master | Earn all the Gold Stars for an individual Dude and its Relics. |
| Family Dude | Earn Gold Stars for all the Dudes and Relics in a single Dude Family. |
| Universal Dude | Earn Gold Stars for every Universal Relic. |
| All You Can Eat | Defeat at least 100 Crabs in a single battle. |
| Baby Boomer | Defeat 50,000 Toddlers (across multiple runs). |
| Yoink | Lifesteal 10,000,000 HP (across multiple runs). |
| Try To Hit Me | Deflect 1,000,000 attacks (across multiple runs). |
| Who Needs Healing? | Generate 50,000,000 Temporary Health (across multiple runs). |
How to confirm an achievement unlocked
When a condition is met, the game awards the achievement immediately and it appears on your platform’s achievement list. Nothing needs to be claimed manually. If one does not pop, the usual cause is a broken requirement mid-run, such as adding a Dude that violates a single-family or fixed-team rule, winning a run that was supposed to end in a loss for Probably Needed Those, or ending a battle before a stat counter actually reached its target. Re-check the exact condition, keep the run clean of anything that breaks it, and the achievement fires on the spot.
