How Many Dudes? Roster: Every Dude Type, Its Stats, Ability, and Relics

A full reference to all 45 entries in the Dudex, including base stats, unique abilities, family tags, and bound Relics.

Every recruit in How Many Dudes? carries its own base stats, one signature ability, and a set of seven Relics that only that type can pull. Those three things decide how a Dude fights and what it does for the rest of your roster, so knowing them up front saves you from bad draft picks.

Quick answer: The game has 42 unique Dudes split evenly across six families (seven each). The Dudex index shows three more entries — Regular Dude, Echo Dude, and Skeledude — for 45 total, but those three sit outside the six-family roster and two of them are summon-only.

The six Dude families

Each family shares a broad theme and its own pool of family Relics and synergies. Stacking Dudes from the same family thins the Relic pool toward the effects you want, which matters more than any single ability. Here is how the 42 unique Dudes divide up.

FamilySeven unique Dudes
ActionAgent, Assassin, Cave, Cowboy, Explorer, Hacker, Pirate
EmployedChef, Construction, Dentist, Electrician, Farmer, Finance, Manager
FantasyBard, Cleric, Druid, Paladin, Ranger, Warlock, Wizard
Sci-FiAlien, Cyborg, Mutant, Psionic, Quantum, Time, Trooper
UndeadFrankendude, Ghost, Lich, Mummy, Necrodude, Vampire, Zombie
WarriorGeneral, Knight, Medic, Ninja, Samurai, Spartan, Viking

Regular Dude has the Mob Mentality ability but is deliberately kept outside the family model. Echo Dude is created by Quantum Dude, and Skeledude is created by Necrodude and a few other Undead effects. None of those three can be drafted directly.

Base stats for every Dude type

These are the starting values before any Relics, Trinkets, or synergies change them. HP is total health, DPS is baseline damage per second, and the Other column lists bonus defensive or utility stats each type starts with.

Every Dude ability and what it does

An ability is the fixed effect a Dude type brings before Relics change anything. Some are pure damage, others heal, redirect harm, reposition allies, or feed your economy. Cave Dude is the odd one out — its Unga Bunga simply reads as him going Unga, then Bunga. Echo and Skeledude, being summons, have no listed ability.

How Relics attach to each Dude

Every draftable Dude type owns exactly seven Relics that only appear for that type, and Relics are the main way you reshape a Dude’s stats and ability during a run. Because each family also shares its own Relics, running several Dudes from one family thins the pool so the pieces you want show up more often. Regular Dude, Echo Dude, and Skeledude have no Relics of their own.

A few examples show the flavor. Wizard Dude pulls Ember Staff, Lava Pendant, and Everburning Torch. Finance Dude pulls Diversified Portfolio, Golden Parachute, and Tax Evasion. Druid Dude’s whole set leans into the pun with Bear Arms, Bear Hug, and Bear Mace. Spartan Dude builds around shields with Aspis, Tower Shield, and Shield Spikes. Match a type’s Relics to what its ability already does, then let same-family picks feed the pool.

Reading stats and abilities together when you draft

Base stats and the ability point at the same job, so read them as a pair rather than in isolation. Knight Dude’s 230 HP and repeating taunt make it a natural front line, while Frankendude’s 180 HP plus Cleave and Regen turns it into a sustain anchor that keeps feeding health to hurt allies. High-crit types like Ninja and Samurai want their crit-focused Relics to fire more often, and healers like Cleric, Chef, and Explorer scale off DPS or Attack Power rather than raw survivability.

Since a run only holds five unique Dude Types with no bench, cover the core jobs — damage, a taunt or block, healing or lifesteal, and some scaling or economy — before doubling up on carries. Once you know each Dude’s numbers, ability, and Relic pool, the draft becomes a matter of picking the type that fills your missing role and shares a family with what you already have.
