Crop Seedlings are the raw ingredients behind Emma and Koo’s cooking in Beast of Reincarnation. Collect them, drop them into the Grow Chamber, and Kagura turns the harvest into the meals that keep you going. They turn up in nearly every region, tucked inside chests and Strongboxes or growing openly in the wild.

Crop Seedlings are spread across the game’s separate regions rather than one open map. Each region you reach through the story can hold seedlings, so it pays to sweep every chest, Strongbox, and rice field as you explore. These are the areas where they appear.

Two things make them easy to miss. Some sit inside caves that only open during story quests, and others grow out in the open in rice fields where they blend in with the scenery.

The Ogouchi Buffer Zone is your first real hunting ground, with four seedlings clustered around Tailwater Village in the center-east of the map. You get two Soya Bean and two Rice here.

The last two are tied to the Chapter 1 story beat. When Emma is sent to find the Yellow Key, the northern rice field and the key’s cave both hold a Rice Seedling, so grab them while you’re already in the area.
How to plant and grow Crop Seedlings
Collecting a seedling doesn’t do anything on its own. You have to plant it back at base.
Tip: The Grow Chamber can be upgraded to hold more seedlings at once. Prioritize that upgrade if you want a steady supply of ingredients without constantly rotating slots.
Keep sweeping each new region as you unlock it, since fresh seedling types expand your menu and give Kagura more to cook with. The four in the Ogouchi Buffer Zone are enough to get a rotation started, and a well-stocked, upgraded Grow Chamber means Emma and Koo rarely go hungry on the road.
