The exact materials, currency cost, and crafting spot needed to build the Relic Piercer at Ancient Archives.

The exact materials, currency cost, and crafting spot needed to build the Relic Piercer at Ancient Archives.

The Relic Piercer is a Harpoon Gun in Fisch added with the Harpoon Guns update on August 1, 2026. Unlike the six other harpoons that are bought at fixed locations, this one is built at a crafting anvil, and it stands out for its high Relic mutation rate and a pull mechanic that rewards fast clicking with extra Progress.

Quick answer: Bring 3 Moonstone, 1 Marrow Meg’s Spine, 2 Scrap Metal, and 175,000 C$ to the Harpoon Gun Crafting anvil inside the Ancient Archives, then select the Relic Piercer recipe to craft it. There is no level requirement.

Crafting materials and where to get them

The recipe needs four inputs, including the 175,000 C$ fee. Each material has a reliable farming method, so the main time cost is fishing up the Marrow Meg’s Spine.

MaterialAmountHow to obtain
Moonstone3Pull from your Personal Aquarium, find inside Meteors at Ancient Isle (roughly a 1.4% chance per Meteor), or buy from the Daily Shop.
Marrow Meg’s Spine1Fish at Ancient Isle using the Marrow Rod, which carries a 35% chance to apply the Marrow mutation needed for this catch.
Scrap Metal2Equip Garbage Bait on any rod and fish anywhere in the ocean.
C$175,000Earn faster by catching and selling rarer fish.

How to craft the Relic Piercer

Gather the three Moonstones. Check your Personal Aquarium first, then search Meteors at Ancient Isle or spend C$ in the Daily Shop to top up any that you are missing.
Equip a rod with Garbage Bait and fish anywhere across the ocean until you have collected 2 Scrap Metal.
Switch to the Marrow Rod and fish at Ancient Isle. Keep going until you land the Marrow Meg’s Spine, which appears when the Marrow mutation triggers on the catch.
With all materials and 175,000 C$ in hand, travel to the Ancient Archives and interact with the Harpoon Gun Crafting anvil. Choose the Relic Piercer from the menu to complete the craft.

You will know it worked when the Relic Piercer is added to your bag and the crafting materials are consumed. From there you can equip it and start harpooning roaming fish underwater.

Relic Piercer stats and unique effects

The Relic Piercer trades raw power for reach and a strong mutation rate. Its defining trait is the pull mechanic, where each pull button can be clicked multiple times, and every click adds Progress.

StatValue
LocationAncient Archives
SourceCrafting
Price175,000 C$
Power25
Range90 studs
Reload2.5s
Velocity70/ps
Resilience-5%
Accuracy20%
Max Kg50,000kg
Mutations35% chance for Relic

The unique effect is the multi-click pull. Each pull button can be clicked 2 to 4 times, and each of those clicks grants Progress, so quick reflexes speed up how fast you reel a target in.

What the Relic mutation does

The 35% mutation chance is the main reason to build this harpoon. Fish caught with the Relic mutation sell for 6.5× their normal value and take on a brown, dirty appearance. The Relic Piercer is currently the way to get this mutation, so consistent use turns a strong catch rate into a steady income boost.

Once the Relic Piercer is in your bag, keep it equipped for underwater fish where the multi-click pull can push Progress fast, and lean on the 35% Relic chance to bump up your sell values. If any material runs low, the Daily Shop for Moonstones and Garbage Bait fishing for Scrap Metal are the quickest ways to restock before your next craft.
