A desrt Plane Update: End Time, Countdown, What’s Next
A desrt is a survival-driving game on Roblox that strands you alone in an open desert with nothing but a wrecked car and a rundown garage. The loop is to rebuild the vehicle, scrounge for fuel, and push out across terrain that keeps generating in whatever direction you point the wheel, scavenging ruins, fending off zombies, and nursing the engine along kilometer by kilometer. It plays solo or in multiplayer, and it has racked up more than about 270,000,000 lifetime visits with around about 5,000 players behind the wheel at any given moment.
One event is running on the game’s schedule right now: a content update the developer is calling Plane update, which went live on October 2 and is set to close on October 31. As the name suggests, it finally adds an aircraft to a game that has been built around ground vehicles until now. The schedule below carries the exact start and end times; the section under it explains what the event is and why it matters. Last updated October 21.

Current and upcoming events
Plane update
The event on the calendar is Plane update, a new-content drop that brings a long-awaited aircraft to the desert. It opened on Friday, October 2 at 11:00 AM ET (8:00 AM PT) and is scheduled to run through Saturday, October 31 at 12:00 PM ET (9:00 AM PT), a window of about four weeks. That leaves roughly over a week left before it wraps.
Interest has built up well for a single update, with more than about 23,000 players marking themselves down for it, a strong showing for a game that typically runs a few thousand concurrent. The developer’s note frames it simply as the plane players have been waiting on rather than a full changelog, so the specifics of how the aircraft handles are left to discover in-game.
