A Fragrant Journey: Forest of Falling Stars is one of the Journey side quests in Aniimo, and it starts with a nervous perfumer standing outside a cave he cannot enter. The whole thing takes place inside a single Celestis outpost, and the only real requirement is that you can turn into a Celestis yourself.
Quick answer: Talk to Perfumer Dael outside the Celestis outpost, twine as a Celestis, place three Large Starines in the nests inside, then return the Treasured Large Starine to Dael.
Where to find Perfumer Dael in the Forest of Falling Stars
The Forest of Falling Stars sits in the Breezy Plains region and is built for characters between level 20 and 25. The quest is flagged on your map beforehand as the clue “The Perfumer Looks Anxious,” which points you at the Nest of Stars.
Twine as a Celestis to enter the outpost
The barrier is the reason Dael is stuck outside, and it applies to you too. Open your menu and switch your active Aniimo to a Celestis before you approach the cave mouth. If you have not caught one yet, they spawn in this same area, so grab one before going any further.
Once you are wearing the blue squirrel form, walk straight in. The interior opens onto a wide chamber with three empty nests in the middle, and interacting with them brings up a prompt asking for 3 Large Starines.
All three Large Starine locations inside the outpost
Order does not matter here. You can grab the three Large Starines in whatever sequence you like, and the nests will accept them one at a time.
Large Starine 1: Trade 10 Starines with Dum-dum
Regular Starines are the small fruit scattered across the cave floor, tucked into hollow logs, and stashed inside the chests hidden in them. Sweep the chamber and pick up everything you see until you have at least 10 Starines.
Dum-dum is the Celestis standing in a corner to the left of the nests. Talk to him and pick the “Take out 10 Starines” option, and he hands over a Large Starine.
Large Starine 2: Inside the hollow log
Head to the side of the nests and look for a large hollowed-out branch lying on the ground. A Large Starine sits in the open section of the log, with a chest right behind it. Take both.
Large Starine 3: Down the guarded side passage
From the nests, move toward the Celestis standing in front of a small cave entrance. Approach and it lets you through. Follow the passage upward and watch the right-hand wall for an alcove holding the third Large Starine.
Keep a good climber or glider in your team. The passages and ledges in here are much faster to clear when you can scale them directly.
Fill the nests and trigger the Starine Festival
Go back to the three nests in the center and submit all three Large Starines. The third one starts the Starine Festival cutscene: the fruit lifts into the air, a Stellarys casts its magic, and starines rain down over the celebrating Celestises.
When it ends, speak to Twinkle and pick the first dialogue option. A chest then appears on a nearby rock. Open it to claim the Treasured Large Starine along with the rest of its contents.
Hand the Treasured Large Starine to Dael
Leave the outpost and walk back to Dael at the entrance. Give him the Treasured Large Starine and the “Peace of Mind” cutscene plays: he blends the fruit into a perfume called Peace of Mind, hands it to you, and sets off for his next stop without ever going in to see the Celestises, satisfied just knowing they are safe.
You know it worked when the reward screen appears with Peace of Mind x1 in it and the quest clears out of your active log. That perfume is also the one tied to the Forest of Falling Stars entry in the wider Fragrant Dream chain, so hold on to it.

The chests you crack open while hunting for loose Starines are worth the detour on their own at this level, and the Credits payout from the completion screen is generous for a side quest this short. If you are working through the area for full exploration, clearing the outpost also ticks off the chest that only spawns once the three Large Starines have been offered.
