A Heart’s Desire Walkthrough – Mount Tai Part 3 in Where Winds Meet

In Qingzhou, Where Winds Meet lists A Heart’s Desire as a Wandering Tale within Mount Tai Part 3. It follows pilgrim He Yuan as he ascends the mountain seeking divine favor, with villagers discreetly keeping him supplied with food. Completing the tale requires two short journeys between Cloudside Village and the Wudafu Pine landmark on Mount Tai.

Quick answer: Collect 3 Dry Rations from Li Zongyao and Zhang Quan at Cloudside Village, give one to He Yuan at Wudafu Pine on Mount Tai, return to talk to Li Zongyao, then climb back up the steps and listen to He Yuan’s final prayer to complete the tale.

Before you start: Closer Than Family

You need the Closer Than Family quest marked as Completed before A Heart’s Desire becomes available. Open the Exploration menu and check the Wandering Tales list under Mount Tai Part 3 to confirm it shows as done. Both tales center on the same group of villagers at the Cloudside Village dumpling shop, so the earlier tale feeds directly into this one.

How to confirm it is complete
